Jean was fab in Edmonton last night and the "Jean Carne Ensemble" backing band were great as was Chris who duetted with her.

I'd never quite realised the connection with Phyllis Hyman which she explained. (She also did an impromptu "You know how to love me" in response to an audience request.

She was on stage at 8 and on til 9.45 so great value. You folks in Newcastle get along there for a treat. And take your requests cos she might ask you for them!
