A very great loss.
"The Duck" was one of the tunes that set me on a quest to find more, and"Darkest Days" was the only tune I played twice (afternoon and night) at Stolen Hours in Ramsgate on Saturday, yet I really didn't know of Jackie's passing 'till I read this. We've lost one of the scene's true greats -------------------- Kevin Kent

With Fred and Bob at the Pearly Gates to meet him I'd wager the guys are sat at some celestial piano knocking songs out like nobody's business. I prefer to look at their legacy than mourn their passing. Great talents, great music, up there with the very best of any genre. Congratulations Mr Nelson on a job well done.

The word legend is used far too lightly these days but on the Northern Scene Jackie Lee is a true legend. The Duck Oh My Darling Darkest Days Shotgun & The Duck Temptation Walk Anything You Want Your PERSONALITY. How many artists (apart from the Motown stable) can boast that many "hits" on the Northern scene? Not many!!
