Superb! What more can I say.... Well, quite a bit actually! Holiday time aside, it is a sad reflection on York when 85% of atendees are from out of York! The sheer quality of the music, and John Parker in particular, who could grace the decks at ANY top 'niter in the country AND hold his own, should have the place rammed with Yorkies slavering for the delights he lays before you! yes.gif Nice to see my long time buddy and top fella Mr. Holmes tempted behind the decks again (ooh er missus!) This man IS the history of soul in York!
Unsurpassed quality from start to finish, from York's premiership club! (Other clubs are available, see events for details!)

Truely amazing nite (again) at York Soul Club .
Top notch rare n underplayed 60s n 70s all the way -100 % original vinyl club policy -unlike others (playing cds , boots n carvers) no deception here.
Once again an absolute priviledge just be be there.
Great crowd who really lapped it up , fantastic atmosphere .
Jerry Brown n Chris Holmes double decking were magical-is it really that long since Chris DJ'd ? , Col Wood played a wonderful set , John and Tone ? -what can one say except month after month their playlists speaks volumes, as does their well deserved and hard earned reputation nationally.
Lets not forget the unsung hero -Tracey, YSC organiser extrodinaire , who meets n greets -the perfect host.
York Soul Club another nite in soul heaven-thanks .
Next month at YSC with John 'Spagetti' Weston and Trev Thomas guestin' can't come quick enough thumbsup.gif
