Just got back from an 11 night holiday in Skala, and managed to fit in 5 nights at the superb Yucca Bar! What a fantastic place this is!
Tony T Bone and Sue host the nights and ensure the superb music keeps you dancing the nights away with sounds ranging from Wigan floor fillers to rare Northern, right through to Classic Motown. Tony's enthusiasm shines through and you are guaranteed a fantastic night - he's not a bad dancer either! Lol!
If you are considering visiting this beautiful island - just do it!! Not only will you have a superb holiday but you will be able to do some proper dancing to the best sounds on the island. Even if you stay in a different resort to Skala, make the effort to visit - its only a small island and you will not be disappointed!
Thank you Tony and Sue for making my holiday - I'll mail you soon and hope to see you both again in September if at all possible.

A great afternoon with surprise visitors from Newcastle, Sunderland, Darlington and New Zealand, It was great to see friends who I had not seen for about 30 or so years. Ian and Gill O'Hara over from New Zealand spent his 61st Birthday with us Stan and Cheryl were down from Sunderland. The locals were out in their strength with Patto and Mr Steve Bowman up to their pranks, no change there. Nice to see Ronnie Pedley out and about.
The music needs no mention having Swish and Stewart Richards behind the decks and our guest for the day Kevin Foster did not let us down. Kevin a York lad, he and couple of friends do the occasional soul night at the New York Social Club Blossom Street York  I would describe what he played as mainly 7ts with Cleethorpes and Mecca being prominent at the beginning and from what I remember a touch of Wigan to finish on, Well done mate, I diid enjoy our short spell of Double decking at the end. Busy till the end.
