A quick catch of recent changes to Soul Source - a site all about the soul



May have noticed the last few weeks has seen a bit of activity with updates and all that sort of thing going on. After a couple of weeks of late nights, have finally got to a stage where can now annouce all of the recent changes, updates and upgrades.



Soul Source Forum Skin

The default look and layout of the forum has had quite a major going over. While still based on the old look, the forum and all related features should now be giving off a improved sharper look and feel.

A few changes to the way the forum is run and moderated have just been put in place. It shouldn't affect the main soul source members groups but the changes should hopefully have an effect on all aspects of the site. The aim being to continue and increase the enjoyable and worthwhile factor on all the soul music related content.

Gallery

The Gallery has had a major upgrade, including a lot of improvements to the layout and the features. The slideshow feature is a noticeable improvement. Currently there are over 60,000 images up there, with 2000+ members albums, and a latest view count of over 7 million views!

Members Blogs



Again another Soul Source feature that has just undergone a major upgrade, could be said that it is now at its best looking since first opening.

All members can start up their own blog on soul source, At the current moment there are 200+ members blogs on site with over 700 entries. Make sure you check out current regular bloggers like Carms and Dave Rimmer to name just two, plus can find  a wide varity of reading from many members via the index

Live Chat Room



The Chat room has returned to soul source with a new system, maybe a bit more basic when compared to the last version, but one of the benefits of this new version is that it is now more intergrated and easier to use

The forum now supports all the above phones

All forum features such as logging in, posting, pms etc are available.





 

Contact Soul Source Feature



The contact soul source feature has been replaced. It is now more intergrated, easier to use and works a lot better on the admin side.
