Tim Whitsett presents a collection of rare and previously unissued tracks by southern soul legend Tommy Tate who recorded for ABC, Big Ten, Okeh, Verve, Atco, Musicor, Jackson Sound, KoKo, Juana, Sundance and Urgent. This album features a number of Tate's songwriter demos and has fascinating liner notes by Whitsett.
