I've had a bugger of a day at work getting ready for a busy Easter.....retail sucks, arrived home to a nice couple of packages from Ace/Kent in one i was delighted to find another batch of six Kent 45's, the other package contained the new Villa CD and Northern Monsters CD which are well worth a punt and deserve their very own mention on here which i might just do a little later.

The Kent label has had a long and happy relationship with Old Town Records and its subsidiary Barry. The first recordings we put out was the wildly named “Think Smart Soul Stirrers: Jerk It At The Party In Chinatown” Various Artists LP. A contender and probable winner for any “Let’s see how many track titles we can get into an album name” contest.
