They will play many a soulful tune in the freestyle room from R&B to anything you can shake a leg to.

Off the top of my head, the one most likely to spin some R&B would be Geese, altho most would have some in their playboxes but not predominantly so.

Hope that helps...would be good to see you...;-)

Sian don't know if we'll make this one, Darrow Fletcher's not on till 11.30pm at Wilton and he's on for an hour plus it's at least 1 hr 30 min's from there to you, so if he's late we would only make last couple of hours. :dash2::g:

Although we only made it until 3am we enjoyed our night ( ears still buzzing from what felt like a competition to see who could break the sound barrier!!!)

Good to see Mickey boy up and about so soon after his op, will hold you to that dance in December at Manchester

Special mention to Helen in the free style room, a lovley hour of really tasty soul music, well done

maybe see some of you at Ibstock next friday or the stute next saturday

For those of you who like to hear some of the more underplayed 60's /70's tunes why not give

PURE SOUL at The Crown in Nuneaton a try, next one Sat Dec 1st

guest DJ Martin "Cunnie" Dixon

Sian sooo pleased it was by all accounts one of the busiest Rugby's for a very long time - i for one was fearing the worst with the Tower being on the same weekend AGAIN!! - As you know i was at the Tower as i do like my nostalgia and cheese served up every now and then.

Top, music, atmoshere and general vibe, well worth the travel, it was great to catch up with a folk I dont see to often due to distance. Lastly thanks to the promoters for putting me on in the back room, thoughtly enjoyed both the spots I did in there, also thanks to those of you that danced and expressed interest in what I spun, playlists to follow shortly.

Its a bit like if Heinken did soul nights, is Rugby.

A bit of a useless and pathetic thank you considering how packed & brilliant the night was but I'm very fragile as I still have guesses who defo party harder than me.

I just couldn't leave it any longer to say a big THANK YOU to everyone.

Loved every minute of Rugby.........thanks Sian & Dean,

only downside is standing with Leon and him farting god that boy can clear a bar area real fast (stink or what)

but even that did not spoil a great nighter

Again thankyou Rugby Soul Club

Keys were found, after me walking around the stage & venue with a torch (whilst being asked for ice cream), announcing it over the mike & starting to wonder what to do next.

Mr Andrew Dyson, next time please check "ALL" your pockets...lol
