Here's the directions for the travelers from the M62 - M606, follow these and you'll find it dead easy!

If you have sat navs then just type in the postcode, its only a couple of minutes from the motorway network.

At the end of the M606, take the Ring Road East, turn Left and drive past McDonalds

You will then pass Yorkshire Building Society, continue straight forward over the next roundabout, go past Asda & The Cross Keys Pub all on your left

At the next Roundabout take the first left A650 (City Centre)

Go past The Gallopers Pub on your left to the roundabout and take the second exit, when you see The Churchill Pub on your right, turn immediate left onto Leicester Street. There are some new build town houses here now which may obscure the street sign. (ive phoned the council and asked them to put a new street sign up for those who have never been before)

Please Note... There Are two Clubs On Leicester Street, go to the second club on your right.

The entrance to The Presidents Suite is the second door down the right hand side of the venue (its the double doors as per my avatar pic, it looks like the entrance to an air raid shelter...lol), you do not need to go into the main club.

The main car park is at the rear left hand side of club and there are also additional car parking spaces all around the venue.

Hi Paul,

Definitely making it over for this one and will be staying overnight at the Best Western along with Lord Paul Brennan of Pickering. That way we can enjoy the delights of Bradford in the late afternoon, some great music (your 50th was absolutely brilliant) at The Presidents Suite but best of all no long drive home.

If i'd had an ounce of common sense i would have stayed in last night and nursed my (i've decided its not flu now its.......Bronchial Pnumonia) :( Well i have'nt got any and thank god for that, what a fantastic night at EBUC.

I was picked up at 7-30pm by (Mad) Tony and (not so young) Steve. We were the first people in the whole wide world to get there! It was a bit nippy at first till (He-man) Steve got that radiator going........then it was way too hot. :sweatingbullets: People started coming in thick n fast, after us, which resulted on me going on the door for 10 mins, cause you just cant get the staff.......Rosemary you were slacking.......tut. Did'nt even get a tip.......well i got one, but i'm afraid i cant print it! :shhh:

Loved all the music played by a whole host of dj's, however, i've got to say it (again) (i bore myself sometimes)........Paul "get the party started" Shirley.....did just that!. Thanks for playing all my bezzy records, you are an absolute star. :hatsoff2:

Lovely to catch up with Paul Brennan and O'D, you seemed to be having a ball you mad guys. BIG BIG thank you to Martyn for my cd's, cant wait to play them later. Great company with Tony, Lisa and Hedley.......Ive just been laughing my head off at your invite, its BRILLIANT, and looking forward to that already. Really sorry to have missed Mick's spot, but there was danger of Tony turning into a pumpkin had we stayed any later. Hope Tomorrow's Men went down well, i'm sure Mr & Mrs Bird would have enjoyed it.

There was just 'something' missing?..............."Mince Pies".........Rosemary where were they???

So thank you Paul and Rosemary for another belting night at EBUC, and see you all next year. Merry Christmas to all of you.

Sandy x

Ps i lost my voice last night so if anyone finds it please send it to sandy@Rochdale.

What a party it was!

People from all over the place turned up last night, some must have driven a couple of hours each way to join in the fun and I really appreciate the effort you made. Were all having to watch the pennies and pounds in this recession and with the expense of Christmas etc it was so good to see so many happy smiling faces in attendance.

I absolutely loved it, certainly of my favourite nights musically. A proper mix of soul music mainly from the 60's plus a few 70's too for a refreshing change and some nice LP only cuts (cheers Andy) If any of the DJs want to post a selection of their tracks, please do...its all about the music!

Thanks to everyone for a fantastic year at EBUC, its been a blast, to everyone who helps me promote the venue with flyer distribution, word of mouth etc, a big cheers to you, especially Martyn & Mick who are rarely seen without a bundle of flyers in their hands, ive had a word with baby Jesus and he's going to be very kind to you on Christmas Day!

All dates are booked for next year, seven events including a Charity all-dayer in May & our 5th Anniversary event in June. Many more new guest DJ's are booked to keep it all fresh.

Were back on the 11th Feb to start 2012 with a bang, hope to see lots of you there

cheers, paul

Paul

Couldn't agree more with what's already been said,a cracking night was had by all our ever growing gang.It was one of those were we'd planned to leave about 1.30ish but once we got in & settled & heard what great tunes were hitting the decks from all dj's that was never gonna happened, there til the light's came on.Not a bad set all night for me & that's some going in 6 hours of music.Have to agree with Mick Tony Hartness took top spot for me but really that's unfair to single one individual out as the night worked as a collective with all dj's adding to the mix.

So well done Paul a great 2011 & can only see 2012 been even better

Cheers

Martyn

PS Paul has Baby Jesus got that Freddy Houston issue for me :D :D

Can only agree with the comments above - top tunes and a good atmosphere all night. All the DJ's brought something different to the table, with Paul Shirley playing what is referred to round these parts as a "strong set of tunes"... Plenty played through the evening that were new to my ears, with Craig Butler's "deep with a beat" Eddie & Ernie B side being a stand-out for me.

Oh, and Tony's right - Pat Lewis sounded fantastic!
