Hi All,

Unfortunately Mick H has had to pull out of this event due to work commitments abroad.

Bob Hinsley has stepped in to take his place.

First visit to Parr Hall and although some great music was played by brilliant DJs the floor was ruined by people spilling drinks, parking handbags and staggering about. I appreciate there was not a lot of seating, not many tables for drinks to go on and handbags to be put under but it's no fun trying to dance to good music when there are ponds of drink and people dancing with drinks in their hands slopping it everywhere. When I asked the security guy if he could do anything about it he replied " what do you expect at a night club" It's a shame, because the venue has potential to be great ,but iit seems more like a local do for local people.I don't think we will be back.

Hi,

Sorry to hear you didn’t enjoy the night and that you won’t be returning.

The event was sold out meaning the room was full and you are correct there were a number of spillages and the venues staff did their best to clean these up, spillages weren’t ignored.

The people who had handbags on the dance floor were asked to remove them by ourselves and the venue staff explaining that this isn’t soul etiquette, which they did.

Nothing is ever perfect and never will be, we can only do our best.

Cheers Phil
