Left my best brolly behind :(

Picked Chrissie up at the friendship on Bury New rd and headed off into town , arrived at Monroes for a few beers and a catch up , hadn't seen Chrissie for over a year so lots to talk about. Usual suspects were in the pub before doors open at 3pm.

Have to say the rain did not dampen the numbers , it was packed again . How good it was to hear Soul seranade as we entered the tunnels /vaults of whatis the legendary Twisted Wheel.

Today was very special for Sean and his party their first visit and I am sure not their last one.

It got so hot down there Chrissie and I had to take a break , and we went through the under ground area of Piccadily station back up to the mainline station to have a bite to eat and people watch for thirty minutes . We sat there attaching stories to the travellers , what a vivid imagination my friend has .... is that a severed head in that box ? has that person got drugs stashed in that bear ! felt wierd eating sushi whilst smelling Chrissies meat pie . she ate ity like it was a gormet meal.... its amazing the things you really miss when you are down under she said.

We took advatage of the seperate loo's at the station , just can't get used to unisex loo's  at the wheel, and then returned to the furnace.

Must say found the having to cross the lower dancefloor a bit of a pain to get to the bar ... what was that all about ?

wondered If my friend the badge man noticed I left my brolly ?

Thanks Rob , but I am not going to scarborough . I am sure Graham will keep it safe until the next time i see him , just glad someone has picked it up because thats an original Japanese issue on a white label lol

His face was a picture when Iasked him to give Chrissie the story on the commissioned artwork , the expression told me he has told the story many times .

For those that don't know Graham is an artist and he will paint your nothern lifetime story for you with lots of elements in the picture relating to you personally.

thanks again
