Charity Christmas Cream Cracker Trev Butland Details

Charity Christmas Cream Cracker.

The date of this years event unfortunately falls around about the time of the 12 month anniversary that we sadly lost Big Trev Butland ( the management). Consequently ALL monies taken on the door this year will go to Mandy to give to a charity of her choosing in Trev's name. I hope everyone agrees with this and we raise a good sized amount in honour of Trev Butland.

Burton Latimer Community Centre. Pioneer Avenue. Burton Latimer. Northants. NN15 5HL

60's Northern, RnB and Early Crossover.

£5 On the door.

DJs and timings

8pm to 9pm Pete "Caveman" Watkins

9pm to 10pm Marky Mole

10pm to 11pm Ian J

11pm to 12am Andy Powell

12am to 1am Pete Lyster

1am to 2am Kev Such, Nidge

Massive talc friendly dancefloor, cheap bar ( about £2.40 a pint ), on site carparking and HEATING.

Lets hope we all go home "Cream Crackered"

True mate. On the first occasion Trev attended the Cream Cracker he came with Alan. As soon as they walked in I said "Look out the management are in". Trev and Alan burst out laughing and it stuck. From my experiences with him he was larger than life and a real pleasure to have known. The funds paid across will be done so in Trevs name.

OH YESSSSS

The famous Cream Cracker.....been looking forward to this since when Kev first mentioned it to me and invited me.

Such a great cause. Hope everyone's bringing their long arms / short pockets [ as my Dad used to say ].

And Kev..... ' early crossover ' W . T. F . !!

You are mellowing mate, early as in 70's / 80's, or do you mean all the way to early noughties ? I'm juggling 12' singles with excitement as I type this !

Me and C. will see you Sat. Can't wait.

Chuffed to bits you kindly agreed to come along and spin for the Jacobs again Pete.

You can leave your 12 inches at home mate, especially if its the one you played before me at Barnstable last year.

Early Crossover, not mellowing just mean first few years into the 70's up to about 71 haha. As long as its got a 60's feel to it.

Safe trip up and regards to Cath

If you class 2 people walking across the floor with a drinks tray each, then you can have your victory Mick.

Just a quick post to say a MASSIVE thankyou to all who attended the Christamas Cream Cracker in memory of Mr Trev "The Management" Butland. Especially to all the DJ's who attended at their own expense, extremely humbling. Also to Helen and Glyn for making the cakes and also a whacking great big thankyou to Mr Lyster who supplied a bottle of whiskey to raffle off.

A total of £450.31 was raised and was helped to that amount by the kind bucket collection that The Pemberton had, top form. I have uploaded the letter above which I received from Vivien at Dream Drops this morning.

To ALL who attended The Cracker and threw some money in the bucket at The Pemberton give yourselves a pat on the back.

Very Kind Regards

Kev and Karen
