and people spilling drinks onto the dance floor which spoilt it for true dancers.
Could not make the second night but read the comments on the feedback, unfortunately the drunks and drink spilling seems to be worse,
a real shame because they are spoiling a great venue.
Until there is some guarantee that the drunks and drink spilling on the dance floor is sorted out i won't be attending in the near future,
there is nothing worse for true Northern Soul dancers,if you can control them then i will come back.

Thanks for listening and replying,i'm not having ago at you or the Venue Management,my anger is at the p*** heads who
ruin it for the dancers.I know you are trying very hard, the security team at the Assembly Rooms in Derby last night told two
non soulies trying to do their thing with a glass of lager in their hands to get off the dance floor with their drinks, which they
did sharpish.I think that if these types people want to come to the Venues they should be welcomed, but they should
acknowledge the Northern Soul way of doing things and take time to educate themselves and respect the dancers,
DJ's and Venue Management, they are treating the night as a normal night-out in a City Centre Club, which it is not.
I know you are trying and ulimately will succeed.
All the best,
KTF
Ron.

For me the Parr Hall was the first 'real Nighter' I regularly attended when I was a student at Liverpool Uni, so it's a real thrill to be behind the decks at one of the venues that helped cement my love of the music.
I must admit though, despite running The Birchfield for 10 years and now The Northern Line, I am still a little nervous about getting behind the decks at such an iconic (for me anyway) venue.
See you on Saturday...I'll be the baldy midget behind the decks early doors...filling his pants and sweating like a weight watcher in a cake shop!

Thanks to everyone for a Fantastic night, the DJ's were Outstanding, didn't look like anyone wanted to go home at the end of the night which is always a good sign.
It was good to see that the venue staff were on the ball and kept the floor virtually free of any beer spillages and dealt quickly with the few that did occur.
Cheers Phil

What another great night indeed, packed to the rafters and floor full all night. What more can you ask for. Staff were brilliant with their mopping up which thankfully was minimal and plenty of positive comments from the punters on the night to myself which is always nice to hear.
Excellent spots from the guests, Yocki outstanding yet again. Keep up the good work Mr Armstrong.
