Its ironic I guess that for a night of "Nowt fast etc" that last time we were running a bit late and after a diversion for an accident , we managed a speeding ticket in our rush to get there on time !!! So with the ethos of the night being "nowt fast" that had better include the driving , so we will be setting out around noon so that we wont be late as my first set is for 8.30 !!
Really hope to see a few early birds in to join us as I will be digging deep for that first 30 minutes with some real gems lined up , and the pressure will really be on as I follow Sean at 11.30 , now that really will take some doing , an honour indeed!!
See ya there Steve

A speeding ticket hey Steve, who was doing the driving I wonder!

As you mentioned times that you are on then I guess I should put all the DJ times up.

8.00 - 8.30 Michael Cooper
8.30 - 9.00 Steve J
9.00 - 9.30 Barry Cooper
9.30 - 10.30 Tony McKenna (Mak)
10.30 - 11.00 Michael Cooper
11.00 - 12.00 Sean Hampsey
12.00 - 12.30 Steve J
12.30 - 1am Barry Cooper

Like to point out that when we say mid-tempo we don't mean snails pace, we just mean no 100mph stuff, so plenty of tunes to dance to, from northern, crossover, modern, motown & R&B.

Always a good night in a great venue, look forward to seeing some of you there.

Barry

Hi Steve
I have sent a message via Coops on FB regarding somewhere to eat, if you are at the Premier Inn, next door is The Farrier, your typical pub/resturant type of place, any thing else give us a pm.

After a bit of a slow start last night at NFNF it really picked up and IMHO I felt it was one of our best nights we have had overall, a good turn out, and some great tunes played in a super venue.

Big thanks to Mak and Sean Hampsey our guest's for the night, both did us proud as you would expect, good to see young Mr Hampsey dancin' later on.

Excellent night all round.

Barry

ps thanks for the cake Liz - Happy Birthday

Just want to echo Barrys thoughts on the night. There were already plenty in early doors when we arrived around 8.15 .This is always a very "social event" and folks are always glued to those comfy settees chatting early on!! but once they hit the dancefloor there was no stopping them!!
I thought that this events guests ,Mac and Sean , both did great spots many thanks to them , and most importantly a HUGE THANK YOU to the key element of any night , the folks who turned out to support us on the night !!

Our first visit to NFNF. And what a cracking night! we really enjoyed ourselves. Thought the music played was exceptional from start to finish. great sets by all the dj's. Such a laid back and welcoming crowd too! The night seemed to flash by in an instant (always a sign to me of how much I've enjoyed an event)

Well done to all. Coops, Barry, Steve, and guests Mak and Sean top tunes lads!
