Looking forward to this night, great to be guest alongside Mr Mannion, a 'Lost Soul Club' special, i'm in the mood to play mainly LP only tracks alongside a smattering of 7" singles...I'll be playing a mainly 70's set with the odd 80's.......
Heard nothing but good things about the 'Shoes'...Believe the clientele or openminded and appreciative of their Soul music, whatever the genre.. See you folks there.

Well, what a great turn out for a fantastic night of top drawer quality soul.... the night just seemed to fly by.... pleased it was "a gud un" for Barry, Mark and and Gary....

Great to see the usual suspects.... and a few first timers also....

Good well mixed set from residents Barry and Mark who were double decking when we arrived at about 8.15pm.... then at 9.30pm the guests, Mr Mannion followed by Mr Franklin, ably picked their wares throughout the next two and half hours.... not sure who finished off as all three residents were visible behind the decks from where I was sat with the beer goggles on, lol....

All in all a night that warmed the soul (pun intended, lol) whilst the weather outside was freezing....

Sounds like another great evening. Sorry we missed it, Helen was taken ill - woman flu (so much worse that the 'man' kind) - so that scuppered it. We'll be up for the next one though. Keep it going guys.

Thanks to all for attending and the kind comments so far from Mark and John , hope women flu does not turn into man flu John!.

I would to thank our guests : STEVE MANNION & BRETT FRANKLIN , it was great you could make it , really enjoyed the couple of hours or so of top tunes

I`d just like to follow up Marks comments above. Thanks to Mark "E" for your kind comments & i hope everyone enjoyed it just as much as we did. Sorry about the early problem from the music downstairs but we got it sorted in the end and have been promised it won`t happen again!!!!!!!

2 fantastic spots by our guests and you are both welcome back anytime.
