Pilsley Soul Cancelled Due To The Weather

Getting spins again

Well after two nights in a week now seems a while since then,so looking forward to another great across the board night at Pilsley, all the residents on this month and also a return visit for the "Two Daves" after doing a early spot sometime last year now back as the guest DJ's, this is shaping for another great night a little old Pilsley.

little old pilsley is BIG on atmosphere and is where id be if not djing elsewhere......the music and sound system are first class

After the last "Two for the price of One" nights which were both excellent and well attended we shall unfortunately have to miss this months event. Ann's off to her brothers 70th suprise birthday bash in Goole and if I can't make it that means its been a long night at Hillsborough. Have a great night in our absence and we'll see you all next time round.

So looking forward to the "Two Daves spot" on Saturday, last time we had them on for a early spot they had the floor buzzing so early on, they have some great tunes between them.
Can't wait to meet up with the bubbly Ali & Clint so we can talk about referee's

Due to the bad weather we have had to CANCEL Pilsley Soul tonight, we will be back in March with Yocky and the " Two Daves" will be our guest's in June.

i was with barry when he made the decision.......he was more worried about everybody else then himself....he hung on and on until the weather turned in grantham....his face looked really sad as he looked out of the window...he must have made at least 30 calls while i was there...checking and rechecking weather reports from ppl along the 1hour trip to the venue....its a real shame as pilsley is off the beaten track but safety comes first .....it will make marchs event all the more special

Hi All. Well I got home from Hillsborough at 7pm Saturday and people could'nt get up the hill where we live and our road was a no go. So you definetly made the correct decision Barry as I heard just about everywhere in Sheffield was closed by 8pm. We only had about 4" but it was really slippy stuff. Looking forward to the March event all systems go as Wednesday are away. Can I take it Yocky will be playing an across the board feel in June? I noticed he was at the last do and seemed to be weighing up the dance floor response, proper professional is that. I also noticed he was up amongst em dancing to a modern track. KTF Paul & Ann
