Cheers Smurfy, always a pleasure to welcome you both to the legion!
It seems like we have come to the end of an era at Burscough Legion-----------Beryl the steward is retiring at the beginning of March so this will be her last appearance at one of our events.
This probably won't affect our events in any way but it will be a little sad to see her go----after all, who else is going to storm the stage half a dozen times a night demanding that we turn the volume down....? Ha ha, only jesting, Beryl will be missed by us all at Burscough Legion.
Great line up for next week, hope a few of you can make it along.

Thanks Joan, couldn't believe how many people turned up last night!
Loads of new faces once again, and the good thing is that people stayed right till the end.
Thanks to all the DJs who spun the tunes last night-----Ged Parker, Grant Rankin, Geoff Buckley and Jimmy Cowburn all played some mega stuff---the dancefloor was bouncing all night!
Probably our best night to date at Burscough Legion----many thanks to everyone for all the support, we couldn't do it without you!
Our next event at Burcough Legion takes place on Saturday 24th March with DJs Harry Crosby, Tony Mac, Di Crosby, Nigel A and myself----hope you can make it along.

I'm not going to single any of the dj's out because they ALL played excellent spots and kept the floor the busiest i've seen it.
Glad we stayed right to the end to catch your spot Tony, it was well worth it. T'was a bit noisy though without Beryl about.
Thanks to Janet for the anniversary cake, you need a bleedin medal being married to Derek for 36 years!
