York Soul Club Cancelled Due To Weather

Thanks for the kind comments. Always enjoy djing at Yorks premier soul club. Hopefully playing something for everyone's taste.

I'm coming up with Paul and Helen McKay, my first visit to York, so hope we have a bit of time to look around. I've seen the regular York Soul Club DJs in action at the Brid weekenders, they've got some great records so it should be really good.

Sorry folks but due to the weather up here I have made the decision not to attend tonights soul night. I would just like to thank Tony and Tracy for the invite to Dj at this premier soul club.Hope you all enjoy the night.

Snowing heavy here now, gonna clear by midnight, but then it will freeze hard, so safety for all is the best option.

Great call pulling the plug early,got 3/4 inches of snow in Hull about 9.30-ish & would have been terrible traveling home.

me and lesley arrived in york at half past two yesterday to meet paul , helen and geoff, just as the snow started, left at 9pm , arrived home at 10.30 pm, a journey that usually takes 20 minutes

Well done to Tony & Tracy for cancelling last night...

It really does take a brave decision to cancel a venue at the eleventh hour, especially when the Guest DJ's are travelling as far a field as; London & Newcastle.

You got this one "Spot On". We had a serious heavy snow fall and like others have posted, it got worse around midnight here in York.

I went to collect Linda from our daughters hen party late on and I spent more time helping other car drivers stuck in the snow blocking the roads off, so I could get passed.

Looking forward to Saturday 3rd March now.

Hello Geoff nice to see you all made it home safely. I made my decision not to attempt the travel as it started to snow early on the afternoon in the north east. Never mind another day another venture.I'm sure you will make the trip again to hear music you like.I might try and get down to the 100 club before Bridlington.
