Lot's happening over the next few months including a possible move to a venue with cheaper beer, and a white sox reunion that will see us back, at the masonic hall in Retford for a cracking one off night of oldies.
Plus the return of smudge, kev, Ian Parker, Tezza, and first visit from Steve J and Fret.
And lots more to come. Nearly forgot the long awaited membersip card.

The Last Smooth Soul age range was between 18-60,

we must be doing something right.

All on original vinyl.

It just doesn't get any better.

This really is excellent news especially as its my Birthday YEAH

Lets not forget that as with ALL Smooth Soul events all door tax proceeds go to the Armed forces charities.

All our contributions go to our brave servicemen and servicewomen who are now in need of our help.

Big thanks to deincourt but as from March onward and upward from our new spiritual home, The RAFA club.

Going out with a bang and a party this friday and hopefully, raise loads of money for the Armed forces charities.

Thanks for the kind words mate,

I'm looking forward once again to playing things i've never played out in Newark before,

uptempo R&B and a few mid tempo Mod stuff, all OV of course, just how it should be.

How very refreshing, like a cool summer shower.

Last night at the Deincourt and Smooth Soul went out with a bang.

The 2 Pete’s and the 2 Steve’s showed what master craftsmen they are.

4 sets of absolute sublime quality.

It was a privilege to be there, well done boys and get your play lists up.

I rounded off the night with a mixture of Rhythm and Blues and a few odds and ends.

Here’s my playlist

The Miracles – Mighty Good Lovin’ – Tamla

Otis Clay – She’s about a mover – cotillion

The Larks – Mickey’s east coast jerk – Money

Johnny Otis – Country Girl – Kent

Junior Wells – Little by little – Profile

Willie Mabon – Got to have some – Formal

Ray Charles – You’re just about to lose your clown – ABC-Paramount

Jesse G – Get in the Groove – Kapp

Chris Clark – Love’s gone bad – VIP

Harold Burrage – She knocks me out – Vivid

David Morris – Stoned on love – Radnor

Mongo Santamaria – We got latin soul – Columbia

Looking forward to our new home at the RAFA club
