Back at home at the Bar Abbey after an away day down at the Cricketers last month, and what a welcome back. Thanks to the Kay Gee Bee die hards for turning up month after month, you are all my inspiration for doing what I do.
Thanks to the people who travelled, from the guy who came from Mansfield to the Yockmeister from the other side of the M1, and sorry to anyone not mentioned but thanks to you all.
Thanks to all D.J.'s for playing some great tunes all night, Little Al,and Brinny Mick and Jarvo from the Attercliffe Libs.
Don't apologise Mick for playing the records you mentioned, 'cos if it's what the punters want then by all means play it for them. I have the same thoughts about this, if you got it in your box and it's requested then play it. When I do say I haven't got a certain record in my box then I really haven't but people still give you funny looks as though to say the contrary. but honestly I haven't. Just my opinion folks.
Other thanks to Nigel, Gina and Pete and Kim for helping out and offering help where it's needed, true friends indeed at a time where all the help is most welcome.
Looking forward to next month when my old mucker Ace will be on warming up for the Blackhearts lads Casper and Mitch. Till then many thanks once again to everyone for making this night the success it is, all the best, Barry, KGB, KTF.

I think both Mick and Jarvo did great spots, I like it when DJs dare to be differnt, if we all played off the same sheet, you might as well put a mixed cd on and put your feet up!
glad to see you got your crowd back after last months away fixture! even a visted from Yockie on a night off, how cool was that, looking forward to next months, oh nearly forgot Little Al yet again what a spot he keep pulling them top tunes of that box of his! what a soul magician
Nigel & Elaine
ps your spot average apart from when you went for a p break!

It was a good night back at the ranch. I was really enjoying it till the dreaded lurgy made a concerted effort to finish me off. Excellent stuff from all the guests. If I may suggest to Mick, I think it's fair to say that more than one DJ has upset punters with tracks like The Snake and Nine Times Out Of Ten before now. There will always be tunes that some love and some hate. You can't please them all, all of the time, so don't try and don't worry about it.
Speak soon

Thanks Nigel for your great comments. The "P" break was much needed, thanks. That empty pint pot was looking like my only option at one point.
Agree about top spots from all D.J.'s apart from the good looking geezer at the end, nudge nudge wink wink, see you soon, Barry, KGB, KTF.
