Looking forward to this one with Two daft lads (one originally from Nottingham) from Yorkshire and a lady from Nottingham on the decks it's got to be a winner! Expect some Palais tunes from the back of the box, 100mph of course!

Di playing her first set , I know she will do well, she is an ex palais girl and dancer , she knows the floor.. :thumbsup:.
Dave Tidswell with great experience always plays a top and well thought out set .. :thumbsup:.
Yocky is excited to play for us knowing he can let rip with more than he is normally handcuffed to play . :thumbsup:.

Soz Guys ( and Sheilz ) Jo-an has been struck down with a Chest Infection and so she won't be able to make it. She is on the mend but doesn't want to risk anything with her History. She does however send her love.
I will make it ( if she lets me out to play !!! )

Well the yockmiester is packed and ready dads back home wi mi mam so to celebrate i think i mite come to blackhearts and make you have it with a couple of different tunes (60's and dancers mr piper)just in the mood for tommorow so one more sleep then m1 here we come see you all soon blackhearts bretheren take care my soul family Yocky and Joy KTF PS if mr piper fancys another dance comp the legend el nel the infadel so get ready (a bet Carls shitting himself lol)

All roads around here are clear and running well this morning with a "talc" dusting of snow that is going very quickly .. so all looking well . :thumbup:.

El Nel's "sister" is defo not coming Carl ... cos we don't have handbags at Blackhearts, and she won't travel without it :thumbsup:

Hello All

Well done to the Blackheart Boys, another belter of a night. It's never going to fail with my great friend Yocki on the decks. Thanks Yocki you played some excellent sounds, one that stands out is Jesse Johnson "Left out" awesome sound not played nearly enough. Also Mitch dropped the diamond on Johnny Hampton "Not my girl" what a record and one of my personal favourites, it was massive at The Casino and should be massive now but rarity precludes this.

More of the same next month please boys.

Hi Pete and Mitch. WOW what a night fantastic. Thank you for giving me the oppertunity to play a few choons for you, i had the time of my life. Had some lovely feed back. All respects to the dancers on the floor which really made my night. Dave you bought the palaise into bestwood village fantastic set and thank you for your advice which i have fully taken on board.I really enjoyed Yocky one of my top djs always drops something just that different in to his set all respect to both of them was honored to share a line up with them. Mitch and Pete as always deliver a brilliant end to the night. Blackhearts for me is one of the best local soul nights and is a true dancers club which is very friendly and a warm welcome every visit. Cant wait for the next one Gents. Diane :)

BIG thankyou to everyone who made the trip on a cold night to attend the Blackhearts Soul Club. A fantastic evening with Yocky , Dave and Diane ( first time on the decks ) playing three Top Notch spots keeping the dance floor busy from eight till late. Please remember that there is no Blackhearts on the 9th of March as we have the All Nighter on the 24th bringing for your pleasure a Superb line up of DJ's in TWO rooms and a free CD for the first 150 across the door. Me and Peter hope to see you all next month. :wave:

.As mitch has already said .. it was a really superb night .. you could not help but smile when you see so many happy people dancing and having a great time ...many new faces coming through again as the numbers grow every month ...

Diane on her first ever spot behind the decks .. she did so very well and did a true "blackhearts" underplayed set ... brill !
Dave Tidswell as ever the pro Dj all the way .. super set Dave .. loved it..
Yocky ... one of the most loved Dj's around .. always hits the spot and mixes it up so well ..
finished of with mitch and myself for the last hour.. all was just perfect ..

Well it was -5 when i skidded to the car but was red hot inside as i said pryor to the event so good to be back on that dancefloor that is as good now as it was in the 60's ..... I got the back end of Di's set but the floor was in flight well done.....Dave Tid and Yocky great sets that Little Richard tune sorted me legs out, anyway enjoyed the night good to catch up with folk i have not seen for some time...........

Hello Blackhearts crew! Really enjoyed playing for you on Friday! Good to spin a few different tunes...Crystal World... who'd have thought it! Once Di got over her nerves she did a great spot and it's always fun DJing on the same night as Yocky. Great finish from Pete and Mitch as always. Apparently Yocky and Nel have got a special cabaret planned for the Wedding Alldayer...scary!
