Casting my mind back to when we traveled to the Dome years ago when Danny always ended up in Wembley because we didn't have a Sat nav back then , this was a much better way to come to London , via Hampstead Heath . It cut out a hell of a lot of traffic and gave us some beautiful scenery which we hadn't seen before in the leafy suburbs of Hampstead on what was the first weekend of full sun !

The approach to Dome brought back tingles in my tummy , so many great memories of fab times when Mat Flynny Irish Greg Alan H and CarlF ran the show , climbing those stairs again brought me so much joy and then to walk in and see AlanH behind the decks was a massive buzz.

The Dj's are no longer caged , they are on the stage , and the place has had much TLC , a brilliant venue , why Londoners are not making the most of this place I don't know ? Its perfect for a northern soul do , two rooms with great potential atmosphere and superb "level" dance floors , no dips like the old days.

It wasn't as full as we hoped but you know it was a stunningly lovely day yesterday so you can understand why some preferred to be outside enjoying the sun ... but going forward people in the area need to support this event this venue is a gem in a very crowded city that is also so easily accessible and has a few quaint places to eat very near should you be hungry , a tube station on its doorstep and a nice buzz around the place. The perfect venue plus they give you jugs of water on the bar for free !

We were treated to some great sounds classics and underplayed and some amazing dancing from regs of old Trickster Sam and Rob (7.5) plus an awesome black guy who dressed impeccably giving us some brilliant dance routines , he stunned many with his steps and spins , he had to be a professional dancer ... he was brilliant .

Thanks to my travel companions Browny and Sean Chapman... whome I will now see behind a wheel in a different light lol ...It was a fun day great to see many old mates and grace that floor again ... when Little Anns  who are you trying to fool came on , it took me right back to Irish Greg playing her .... brilliant
