right on bro!, BIG BIG NIGHT this one, always has been and a full house on the cards so early doors is an essential. we're up from telford and im spinning the tunes first hour in honour of the late graham slater...looking forward to doing him justice and getting a few up to dance as well. PLEASE NOTE: due to other commitments, SEAN CHAPMAN is standing in for john poole, BUT that dosnt change the fact its gonna be ABSOLUTELY ROCKIN' in BRIG!

I may be being pedantic here,

may I ask how many records per hour do you spin?, cos according to your last playlist

it seems as though your records only last one and a half minutes,

just an observation you understand.

been trying to place who you are.

Always enjoyed my nights at Brighouse in the past.

dekka mate, i know you mean the kings hall, think i did a little bit longer than i realised thus, a larger playlist,...anyway no chance of dementia here!. brighouse is one of my favourites as well and always a pleasure to get to do a set here, and one of my favourite djs, sean chapman is adding to what will be a great night with his brand of up-n'-at-em northern soul...better get ready for some quality tunes!!

Nice pics Alan camera looked very high tech, but where is the button that stops us all looking older. Back to the night enjoyed it, and dancing to Sean's Eddie Parker beats Mad friday out in the town hands down.Congratulations to Ginger and the Brighouse crew on there 15 anniversary.I have been attending at least 3 times a year since the Tony Banks days and the ritz must go down as one of the best soul night venues ever.

truel amazing night......probably one of the best anniversaries EVER!!......looked a full-on lockout, if it wasn't, it was oh so close.....pleasure to warm you all up, always tricky is starters but once you got going you didnt disappoint....great sets form my "neighbour" sean chapman...does this guy know how to rock a dancefloor or what??, even dropped in some, oh so cool latin grooves including THE TUNE OF THE MOMENT, harvey averne dozen - "never learned to dance"....mega bucks! mr. suave, nige grice was also in hot contention for set of the night, the man always delivers!...and what can you say about ginger that hasn't already been said?, the mix master himself playing....as dave thorley would say: from the hard to find to the just plain good!.....sums up brighouse ritz to a tee...oh, and a big hand to owner, alan, for allowing us to frequent the best little venue in yorks for 15 YEARS!...THATS YER CHRISTMAS OFF TO A CRACKER....SEE YOU ALL IN LANCS ON SUNDAY.
