ran out of superlatives to describe this place about 2 years ago, fantastic crowd in again yesterday, friendly and knowledgeable, in fact if it is possible for this place to get any more popular, the lads will have to issue tickets, superb cross section of all things soulful, record of the day for me:-Eddie Billups-I'll try something new (flip to Shake off that dream) played early doors by Bri, oh, and the real ale was tip top again

Ditto all the above! Absolutely superb afternoon of top quality soul music and great festive atmosphere!

Highlight for me was the bit between when I got there and when I left!

I think everything's been said, but a big thank you from all of the south Coast and Cardiff crew. We had a fantastic day, Lovely people, quality tunes and Plenty of Apple Juice. Well done Joe, Steve, Mick, Dave and Bri, one to remember I think. Great tunes from Martin and Pat and the boys. Thanks for the Imperial C's Pat and Mick for Lyde, Fisher & Giles. It was great meeting all our mates and meeting loads of new ones. Have a great Christmas everyone and hopefully we will see you in the new year.

Twas my first visit to The Horse & Groom on Sunday and thoroughly enjoyed it - so refreshing to go out and not hear the same old same old.  I thought Pat from Liverpool's set was fantastic

If anything it was too popular, because the venue was that packed that someone had to move in order for you to move in any direction, haha

Will definately be going again
