Well done guys, top form. Was a brilliant turn out and hopefully a good amount was raised. Only critisism from me is that it was a Sunday so dont know if there were work commitments elsewhere etc... but all the dj's had been asked about doing this a long time ago. I along with a good many dj's were there from the OFF but it is annoying when dj's turn up late afternoon or early evening and repeat tunes because they werent there.

Gripe over.

Kind regards and once again well done.

Kev ( listened to some modern yesterday and didnt like it ) Such

Oh yeah, and how refreshing that EVERYTHING went to the causes.

Morning,

After a rough tally up last night £1200 has been raised, this will be split equally between Macmillan and the Children’s ward at QMC.

What a fan-bloody-tastic Charity result and it’s thanks to everybody who supported this event and gave so generously. The raffle table had a steady stream of people buying tickets and the prizes were joyfully received. Again, a big thank you to those who donated raffle prizes.

Did you notice a technical glitch with the new amp, one of the channels went a bit flakey and after a few phone calls and a drive around Nottinghamshire a back-up 'just in case' amp was sourced thanks guys.

DBSC are planning to hold another Charity event at Cotgrave in 2014 so watch this space…

Rounding up, thanks to the DJs, Cotgrave Welfare and everybody who supported this event. Hope we will see you back at Cotgrave on the 14th of September with the DBSC Residents plus Martin Stanford and Clint.

I will leave it with Trev to post the final numbers..

All the best

David & Liz.

Well I know its been over a week since the big CHARITY ALLDAYER at Cotgrave but I now have the final amount raised

the total is £1230.00 which is a big pat on the back for everyone that attended this brilliant alldayer.

I would like to first of all thank all the DJ's that gave there time totally free of charge and made the day, all there hard work and commitment to this day was a great show of how people really give 110% for 2 worthy charities which will each receive a 50/50 split of monies raised.

Right from the off at 12.00 Kyp started the day and from the start he had the floor which increased as dj after dj did DBSC proud and made all the hard work worth while.

So I would like to thank Gaz Shooter, Kev Such, Mick j, Andy Powell, Cressy, Clint, Soul Sully, Tony Dalton, Kyp, David Dee, Martin Stanford, and Moldie I know this is a bit long winded but they deserve much moor than a thank you. A top draw line up of DJ,s that would fill any venue.

Then there is all you that gave your time and money to support us a big thanks, plus all the kind people that donated prizes for the raffle So make a date for August bank holiday sunday next year as this is going to be yearly charity day.

thank you once again one and all Ktf TREV (D.B.S.C) Cotgrave Notts.

Don't forget we are on every 2nd Saturday of the month.8 till 12.30
