I suppose we could get Jessica to push if it's really bad. We had four inches of snow this morning outside our house, but hopefully it should have melted by the time you pick us up tomorrow. Just pack a shovel, a quilt, and lots of beer, we'll be ok then whether we get to the alldayer or not

ps the quilt is to keep Jessica warm in between sessions digging us out. The beer is for us ! :wicked:

Roads are fine over here, bit of a thaw setting in. Should be ok as long as there's no more snow later but doesn't look like it at the moment.

If you fancy staying over why not ring Heskin Farm, should think they'll have rooms available---5 minutes walk from the Legion.

Thanks to everyone who travelled in the sometimes atrocious conditions last night to attend the Burscough Legion Mad March Alldayer. Special thanks to all the DJs----Martyn Bird and crew especially who came over from Hull on what was a terrible night weather wise. We thought the music was top notch all day and evening, a real mix of stuff that you don't get in a lot of venues these days.

Numbers well down on our previous alldayers---don't know if this was solely because of the weather but I think not. After last years top attendances we thought we had turned a corner at the Legion but the last few months have been disappointing attendance wise.

We are now considering the future of the Legion, a decision will be made in the next couple of days and posted on here.

Thanks to everyone who has supported the Legion over the last 5/6 years, we've had a great time and hope that you all have too.

Had a great day,as ever at Burscough, couldn't fault the music throughout the day, agreed the weather didn't help with attendance, but I'm sure the people who attended had a ball.Priceless moment when I accidentally on purpose, turned the sound system down to hear Sandy and the Soul Bus crew serenading Tony Mac on his birthday.....

We had a great day & well worth the trip over(that includes the hour n half delay due to a snowdrift coming over that hill).Heard some great tunes old & new,a real good mix with most bases covered at some time or other. Not been a regular I thought under the circumstances the attendance was quite good, there was certainly  plenty of banter flying about near us :D

Hopefully after the dust (not snow) has settled you'll rethink & want to continue, little gems of night's like this are too few so one less will leave a big hole.

Cheers

Martyn
