Looking forward to this. Under the radar soul funk allnighter and probably some of the best tunes ever recorded will be played on the night off original vinyl. Nights like this are very rare, so don't miss this chance to be part of it.

My mate Kev's just driven out to the venue & says the roads around are clear & passable, so we'll be on our way later, hope to see you all there. :hatsoff2:

Just to let everyone know.           We are going ahead tonight.

Local roads are a bit slushy but nothing to worry about. Of course it could get worse so best to check your route before you set off.

Thanks Sean.

Hopefully the dancefloor is as good as Lifeline's has at last now become i.e not sticky!

Take care

What a great night! I really didn't expect so many people to turn out with those weather conditions, but it was a packer. Fantastic music all night and a busy dancefloor all night long. It just shows you, a lot of the music was obscure and not well known but it didn't stop people dancing to it, none of this 'if I don't know it I'm not dancing to it'.

I'd like to thank everyone who tried to help me out with pushing / pulling / digging / kicking my car out of the icy pit it had sunken into. About 10 full grown blokes at 4.00 in the morning all doing their best to help. Thanks fellas!! The AA eventually sorted me out at about 6.45am. I hope everyone got home safely as it was absolutely treacherous on the roads going home.

Yes Jordi I totally agree, I couldn't believe my eyes when we arrived to a full car park & people parked out on the road, the place is ideal for a nighter, as the Jam said "Away from the numbers, is where I wanna be" & that suits us all, the music in the most part excellent & a refreshing change. It was even fun for a while trying to extricate your motor from it's final resting place but it became a bit of a scrum, plus the music we could hear, frost bite & nipple rash together with the smell of burning rubber (It's been a long time) we're more than man could stand & besides the AA man actually gets paid to do that & we wouldn't want to do him out of work, would we? :g:

The drive home up the A38/M1 etc was horrendous & there was a constant drone which sounded like a wheel bearing collapsing, however by Derby I'd worked out it was actually the chatter & waffle of Gail & Donna, God my ear hurt!!!

So if that's anything to go by then Shorny & Dave are onto a winner. :hatsoff2:

Take care, be safe & remember, There may be trouble ahead but while there's music & moonlight, & love & romance. Let's face the music & dance",

Got to agree with jordirip and spot this was well worth the drive down from the North/West bearing in mind the crap weather as we had a TOP nite and a great attendance all things considered weather wise. Big slap on the back for all the DJ,s who kept the floor busy with some great sets well done and DOC PICKLES BOOM BOOM great set fella loved it. Deffo be back for some more. Later Hombres
