Darnall Horti' Soul Club Details

:) Friday, February 15th, at the Darnall Horticultural Institute, 647 Staniforth Road, Sheffield S9 4RD :)

After last month's terrible weather, we are back on the road with our 4th anniversary event. The last four years have been a terrific success, so here's hoping we can start our 5th year on another high  !

Unfortunately, Little Av can't make this one due to family committments, so Derek White has kindly agreed to step in. Many thanks Derek. So, alongside residents Gary, Alan and John this month our special guests behind the decks will be Derek and Joe Lakin :hatsoff2: :hatsoff2: . So, come and enjoy good company, a great atmosphere and the finest soul music around. We will be giving away a CD to the first 30 in, and holding a raffle. All proceeds will go to a charity to be decided.

Our continuing policy is to bring our supporters the best soul sounds from the 60s and 70s, and more, all only on original vinyl :thumbsup:. No politics, no egos, just soul, friendship and a belting night out. If you fancy hearing a few tunes you might not have heard before, alongside plenty of old favourites then why not come along and hear for yourself?

8.00pm till 12.30am, bar till 12.00. :) £3 ENTRY, NO ADMISSION AFTER 11.00PM.

See you there.

Thanks very much to all those who came along to make it another successful night at the Horti. We had great spots from our guests Derek White and Joe Lakin, and a cracking time was had by all. The door and raffle raised a total of £173 which will go towards the Jack Kitching appeal. Thank you to everyone who donated prizes and bought tickets - a wonderful effort all round.
