38 confirmed on fb and we normally get between two and three times whats on fb so hopefully should hit our average 90 which is more than enough for a good vibe and a busy floor...some first timers and plenty travellers to hear some great selections from our guests..and some faves and new spins from us residents...a good mix i think of rnb, northern and funky stuff....classics and lesser knowns from us all

des parker will be there with his latest box of bargains too :-)

big thanx to sarge for some plugs on banbury radio last nite ;-)

big thanx as always to those who came to gogo last night...considering st pauls carnival was on in Bristol and various soul and scooter events taking a few regulars away around the country we were happy with the 90 people who attended,a few first timers from glos and brum who seemed to enjoy it so hopefully will be back..thanx to to those from devon, somerset and wales and ofcourse Bristol...those of you who know mike who fainted a couple of times for no apparent reason,we had a tex this morning saying he was ok but was gonna see the doc Monday to be sure..massive thanx to the doctor pickles and co for looking after him..also our guests the soulful mark white and funky craig smith for some top tunes...I hardly knew any!...don't miss next month the legend that is SOUL SAM and mr Stafford and yate DAVE THORLEY

A strangely empty night.Not.The idea that the usual type of phillistines you get to south Bristol events would dance to any kind of music they did not hear on a scooter run in 1889 was not missing.Good music from both guest dj's.In fact very good.Lovely funky tunes. If you are a scooter boy loook away.Times have moved on.Next night has Soul Sam age 120 just a little bit older than me.He made my night several years ago by playing Angie Stone "I wish I did'nt mish you much" at Weston Super Mare.Heres hoping to a top night.Real soul fans wear flares
