Some top guests also with Dave and Jerry- their soul knowledge is amazing, they've always been on the scene for me from when I started going to soul events in the late 7t's- remember them from Yate and onwards and they always educate me on the tunes they put on those wheels of steel! can't wait!

The Ballads - 'I Can't See Your Love (For The Tears In My Eyes) Part 1' (Vee-Jay)

A big thanks to everyone for making it a 'night to remember'- from start to finish-  really enjoyed the open deck dj spots with Dave, Tim, Rocker & Mark- also loved the guests, as normal Dave & Jerry pulled out all stops to really add something to the night. Dean and Pete were on top form also as they always are. The main people the dancers really did make it special with the floor busy for most of the night- thanks Martin for putting on the event and it was really worth the trip considering there was so much on elsewhere. It just goes to show how vibrant the scene is these days- ktf from Matt

Always a top night for me.  Nice to meet Mark, Rocker, and Tim on the decks.  Top sound system from Pete (thanks for the lights!), and Dean, Matt and Pete keeping the floor exciting as always with their prime Northern Soul/ R&B floor fillers.  Plus.., it's not every weekend you get to hear Jerry Hipkiss and Dave Thorley double decking!

'opening' spot:

The Masters - Not My Baby (Crimson) - the flip to 'I Need Your Love'

Montclairs - HY!DFI! (Arch)

Roosevelt Matthews with Billy Ball & The Upsetters - You Got Me Diggin' You (King. Promo)

Little Dooley - If Ever I Needed You (KoKo)

John Bowie - You're Gonna Miss A Good Thing (Baby) (Merben)

C.O.D.'s - I'm A Good Guy (Kellmac)

Anthony & The Aqua Lads - I remember (Gold Bee)

Natural Four - The Devil Made Me Do It (Chess)

Arnold Blair - Trying To Get next To You (Gemigo)

Soul Brother Six - I'll Be Loving You (Atlantic)
