With regards to stu's above comment would like to say the all dayer is the first of many charity nights / all dayers  whos purpose is to raise funds. Its early days but with your help we can help beat this disease.

Across the country soul clubs are expressing interest in holding events, already on board locally are the " Bilton Harrogate" and Sheffield inner Soul along with Kellingley Soul Club and F&M Soul Club Ackworth, plus Hull Soul Club.

Also helping to promote is Nick at Banbury internet radio soul.

As you can see on our flyer we have a photo of Yvonne Vernee from the Elgins well we are proud to say she has asked to be our patron in the states which we are honoured to accept.

If your doing nothing next sunday 21st july we will be on vixen radio to play a few tunes and talk about our aims. Now heres the big one Yvonne Vernee will be chatting live on the show. Hope you can listen.

Can i give my apologies to anyone who listened in to vixen fm on the 21st july we had hoped to hook up live with Yvonne Vernee ( Elgins ) unfortunately she couldnt make it.

Happy to say she hopes to chat with us live this sunday 11th Aug once again on Vixen 101 fm.

Things going along great for the all dayer  will be able to print the djs attending on the day shortly, must be a dozen from across the country so should be a good cross section of the music we love played.

I forgot to offer the support I can to TOC when talking this morning.....put me down for a raffle prize of 4 bottles of Vintage wine from my 'cellar'....2 red 2 white....valued @ £100+ and are from 1998/9! I will also put in a 5th bottle of 'rare' Formula 1 'commemorative' wine done by the renowned Willi Optiz Winery in Austria for McClaren to acknowledge their '98/99 season! It was bottled in 2000 and they were all sold by the case load @ £35 per bottle before the 2000 British Grand Prix! Valued currently £75-£100 a bottle!  I'll organise delivery of them if provided the address of winner...no probs...X The dust and cobwebs on them come free....!x I don't drink....I bought them as an investment years ago....but I consider this function and cause a worthwhile investment....X

I'm afraid being a yorkshireman cant be outdone....and seeing as I wos born in Hull....Yakshire....and proud of it....all coal I cherish Tony and I have 2 lumps of it in my 'collection'....1 being appx 40 million years old with a dragonfly neatly imprinted on it....see its wings and evryfink! T'other is a piece I keep in my collection cabinet to remind me of the happy days I had as a kid on New Years Eve....! When 5/6/7/8+ years old...living in Hull...Grimsby....Middlesboro'...it wos customary to have a 'dark person' bring coal into the house at midnight! As all the coal men were probably pi**ed at the time....I got the job of bringing in 'good luck' to neighbours by walking in their house wiv me lump of coal and getting a shilling or bunch of pennies for me troubles!!!! I had a better result than 5 hours traipsing around wiv a Guy in the freezing snow.....honest!x Happy days......and i'm sure encapsulates what coal represents to us t'norverners....into Norvern......!x Soulful stuff....and thanx for being in me life folks...X

Off to the boot sale to find anuver nugget....or a lump of coal with wings......................! For some reason i'm inspired to 'spin' this angelic tune for us all....!x

EDIT...bu**er...Dave Rimmer and Pete S will not be impressed at me lack of Coimmercial Marketing skills.....!hehe!x A seperate prize will be this......the 1st ever proper fully finished copy of 'The Togetherness 2013' Documentary DVD....! Not 1 has been given...sold...or watched yet as they is coming off the presses next week........! They get the 1st 'Commercial' copy......NO 1....! They are numbered too.....so no cheating or owt...!x

It's an after thought to the wine.......but after investing 2 years of me life into this new album of which 4 tracks are tagged on to the documentary.......I like to forget it when possible...! Soul Source is me chillout zone....not 'business'.....so forgive me Dave and Pete for not being 'on it'...!x

Just back from another brilliant dayer at Knottingley.

A big crowd again and hopefully Toc, Tony and the boys have raised pots of money for Cancer research.

It was a real pleasure to be asked back to DJ again for such a worthy cause.

Where to start, guess should echo what everyone else saying brilliant day roll on the next all dayer in OCT.

Big thanks to all the djs too many to mention 12 or 13 i think who all worked their socks off to keep the dance floor going ( guess these knd of days cant be said work ).

Have to say Kellingley Soul Club was honoured to hold the first charity soul event in the fight to find a cure for cancer. Many more clubs are arranging a charity night for this great cause so please look out and support, we can make a difference.

Big thanks also to all who attended after a very busy weekend on the soul scene, many who had been to the central on the sunday came along plus some hardy soulies who also did Keele plus the people who couldnt make it for work reasons etc but sent messages of support.

Shall keep mine short Toc hase'nt posted yet and he dosent usually do short.

Just finish off by saying through the door money ( only £3 entry ) plus raffle and the memorillia kellingley were able to get the ball rolling for charity soul to the tune of just over £900 !!!!   well done folks.
