No Way Out Details

No Way Out has been delivering the goods for well over six years. Six years of Europe's, the USA's and UK's top mod-oriented R&B DJs playing to the hippest of crowds in God's own city of Modchester. Two great venues at The Rampant Lion and The Old Nags Head with one middling one at Barca; loads of life-long friendships established and passports to a variety of other UK and European nights stamped; plenty of sweat, talc and worn out soles; smart attire in abundance and, most importantly, the music has literally been out of this world. Thanks to all the regulars, DJs, dancers, listeners, sellers and buyers, drinkers, talkers, smokers, collectors, locals and those from afar that have made NWO so enjoyable for Steve, Yvonne, Sue and myself over the years but the time has come to call it a day. Clubs, like all living things, have shelf lives. We've got the seven year itch and we certainly have no wish to become passé. Accordingly, we're doing two, and no more, No Way Outs. The penultimate is on Saturday 14th September, the ultimate on Saturday 16th November 2014. If you want to help us celebrate six great years put these dates in your diary.

Our guests in September are regular face-about-town, pioneer of all that's new and wonderful about our scene, Pow Wow's, and the eagerly awaited Monkey Jump's, Callum Simpson; Soggy, our Englishman abroad and curator of Oslo's Klub Magnus and, for her debut behind our decks, the reason Soggy has moved to the land of the £10 pint and £40 curry, lovely Kristine Kvamme. Really looking forward to bowing out in style!
