I suspect this one will be packed out. Got a great feeling. Get your seats early (not that you will be sat down much hopefully!!).  Harry is a lovely bloke, and the Brandy Sisters........well, what can I say?????   They need no introductions in this part of the world that's for sure.  I can't blooming wait!!!!!!  xxx

You're right about those ladies Lawrence!

They are doing two half hour sets - around 8pm and 11pm.  Not done DJ rota yet but it's coming soon.

Our very special guest  HARRY CROSBY will keep the Pie Hall rocking for his first visit to us.  He has a record box to die for and has told me he will show no mercy to our dance floor!!!  Dancers all the way!!!

I'm really looking forward to this night, not only have we got  HARRY CROSBY as our very special guest this month.  Believe me, he is one of the big DJ's in the North East but the Brandy Sisters are back at The Pie Hall!!!  It's going to be a party night to remember!  7-midnight, the best welcome and the music in Yorkshire on the second Friday of every month!

I'd been looking forward to this for weeks.  I had met our special guest, HARRY CROSBY, a couple of times before but only heard him play on Bishop FM.  I really like his stuff as it's real deal Northern Soul and very danceable.

The night did start rather slowly and I believe there were some problems on the M1.  Our open decks guys really enjoyed themselves for the first hour and played out of their skins!  The Brandy Sisters took to the stage for the first of their two sets and that proved to be the calm before the storm as they were planning a coup d'etat for their final set later on.

Harry played a superb set and I must say it was enjoyable and refreshing to see such enthusiasm from someone who has spent much of his life on the scene.  He talks about music and venues with such spirit it is impossible to not get carried away with him and transported back to the golden era!!  OK, I may be getting carried away a little but I really enjoyed that hour - thanks Harry.

I had been warned that the Brandy Sisters were planning something.  They came out dressed as Brian (one of our resident DJ's who could not make it last night).  Hilarious, I thought, I then realised that they were refusing to leave the stage at the end of their set and were attempting to play on for another hour until the end of the night. They were finally out-flanked by myself and the last few tracks went down pretty well if I say so myself.

We (the resident DJ's) played some decent stuff but we don't like to talk about it!!!

Once again, thanks to our regulars who support us month in and month out.  We saw some new faces too - welcome and it will be nice to see you again soon.

Love ya!!
