Beer mugs been fixed, records are packed and accommodation sorted. Last years was a belter.

May have to take a few spends with me to look at Des's bargains.

See you all Saturday.

If you'd gone down to the woods last weekend, you'd of had a nice surprise. (if you didnt, you missed a right corker).

The venue is fantastic( with the possibility of a "Freestyle room" down stairs) and the sound system is perfection to work with and to listen to. Glyn Richards, Lorraine ( who gave up their bed for me, thanks guys) and Jon Willis, seriously put on a belting event. With spinners from all the corners of the Uk, in between and Europe you aint gonna go far wrong. And they didnt!!!!!!!!!! Truly. Admittedly numbers were low (ish) on Saturday but those of us who were there fricking well enjoyed it I believe and Sunday was bloody marvelous.
Great to see and catch up with everyone now known and previously known, managed to spiel off in German a few times, Guido needs to bring a bottle or two of Asbach Brandy with him next time just so the bar doesnt run out. The dj rota worked great ( which must have been a nightmare to sort out) and I believe everyone complimented each other greatly with NO running off on tangents. Back down in June for another Fun in the Forest, when no doubt I shall be star struck again, with line up on offer. A man is judged by the company he keeps. in my opinion I must be ok as the company I was in this weekend was certainly second to none.

Regards

Just want to thank everybody who came on Saturday, numbers were a bit down on what we were hoping for.Lots of people from all over. Musically you could not want for more. Tunes not heard before and old favs.  Lots of comments about the dance floor, most people no talc needed. Lots of comments about the sound system, other than a few nob twiddlers was perfect.  We raised £610 over the weekend this will be split between Cancer research and the venue.  Once again thanks to all who came..

Looking forward we have 2 legends gracing the decks in June Sir Ted Massey and Pete Lyster. Hope to see you at the go go

Hey Jon, just wanted to say a Big Thank You to yourself, Glyn & everyone else involved in putting on a great event. Shame the numbers were down a bit on Saturday but nevertheless I for one had a great time. The venue, the dancefloor & the tuneage was excellent. Top mix of DJ's (great to hear Tony "play out" live, well worth the trip for me !) Brilliant day, Take care mate, safe trip to Germany, catch ya soon.
