I rang the box office last week and was told that Sunday pay on the door was not an option on the Tower tills at the moment, I think last year it was £12 each.

From comments last year it was Blackpool Tower who decided to allow pay on the door depending on tickets sales.  We went to the Sunday sessions in May and November and enjoyed both days.

Well done Sam, was great to catch up with you and Andy. See you next week on the cruise. P.s. Only you could dance the hole length of the ballroom, and you could tell by your face how much you enjoyed the buzz from playing your tunes. Rod & Danny Clegg

What a fantastic trip up from Eastbourne for this - actually thought the Saturday afternoon was the highlight. Fantastic music. Does anyone have the details of the photographer who was taking pictures over the weekend?

Not long back, Danny and myself had a great time as always, a BIG WELL DONE TO KEV &  RICHARD and company, ( a well worked weekender) was nice to see a young Jordan Wilson putting his tunes on the decks, well done. It just reminded me of the first time our Danny got the chance at the tower. They just do it. Rod

TOP NIGHT - Despite the "shambles "to get into the place - No one remembered me as.....

"The UK Disco dancing champion - 1989 - Peppermint place - Blackburn .

Despite pre paying they couldn"t find me on the "Big shopping list -

Nightmare ! -

Blackpool hospital had donated some patients wrist bands  - Funny ! -

Touch n go - was I getting in  - Tense moments  - Could have ended up at Mecca Bingo ? :dash2:

Was only there to win the WORLD - NORTHERN SOUL dancing championship 2014 - Over 65 s :sweatingbullets:

However nerves got a grip when I witnessed the BADGES/BAGGIES & MATERIAL out on the floor !

According to some of the badges - Some "Younger "people had attended the

Wigan Casino 3rd anniversary - " Cocoon"  - I thought it was just a film - So I bottled it -  :g:

Should have got a wig on the promenade @ the hat shop - There where a few "hats " in the tower . :hatsoff2:

Ballroom dancers still in there from the previous week - waiting for Reginald Dixon & his

Wurlitzer piano to pop up from the stage - Didn"t happen - But they still felt the need to "Go Strictly" -

OUTRAGEOUS! :wicked:

Some great tattoos on show - Some of the men had great artwork as well.

Too the lads & ladies that got in wearing shorts .....Another 3 months it will be warm  -

the beach was a left turn on the promenade - easy mistake to make @ night eh .

Long are the days we didn"t laugh - Thanks for a memorable evening .

Ninja . :boxing:

An up and down weekend, with, on balance, more downs than ups. Most of the music was as bland as you would probably expect . Although Casper, Mark Freeman and Pete( primetime) Eccles were all excellent. And Jordan on Sunday afternoon made the whole thing worthwhile with an hour of quality up-tempo northern soul. Very impressive.

My friend Karl had a fantastic time (as always) at the Tower. He did give his number to a very nice lady he met on the stairs, dressed in black. If she sees this, he gave you the number slightly wrong.  The first part of the number should be  0781.. .  "TEXT ME KARL".
