"Dance floor second to none." Hard to argue with that!   Fantastic "clear" sound system as well I have to say.  Lovely atmospheric old venue, looking forward to getting back there.   Chris and Sue.

Blimey.

Cathy and Jane collecting money off us for the raffle.

Surely that's a bit one-sided ?

There'll only be hundreds of us,against the two of them .....we've no chance !

Had a great time at Cindeford yesterday. A REAL pleasure to be invited to spin for Glyn Richards and Jon Willis. Spots for me on the day truthfully was Mr Dean Read. 'Beauty is only skin deep' did it for me, memories came flooding back of bygone days when I heard the opening bars. Shaz's stories had my sides splitting, I think at one point I let out a little bit of wee, haha. Watching Jane vainly attempting to clap one handed to Gene Woodbury!!! Great to see everyone cracking banter, cracking tunes, cracking company simply perfect. See you all in October, if not somewhere before. Also recieved an invite to guest at a club that I honestly have wanted to be asked to do since it inception and am there in December. Not been back there for 30 years so excited anticipation would be an understatement.

Cathy and I had a great time too - what a bunch  of nice people. We were made to feel very welcome by the organisers and looked after.

Cathy's cake was a lovely touch too.

Well done to Glynn and John and Mazz and everyone else in this great venture, offering brilliant support to such a worthy cause.

see you all soon
