Looks like a smart venue, not to long till its go go time in Leicester again!this is a must attend for me to support my old mate Phil,a mix of stonking uptempo soul from all eras is already music to my ears definately more diary must go dates to pencil in for the future when evnt is up and running regular which I feel in my getting older and aching more but are still going to be given stick at events such as this one bones for some years to come hopefully  that is.

Get in!!

Nighters back in soulville aka Leicester!!

Sooo looking forward to spinning tunes in my home town and by all accounts seeing many old faces blowing the cobwebs off to make this nighter special and all happening in the "dogs ****ocks" of a venue!!

Quality line up of rare soul and oldies dj's make this nighter unmissable whatever your taste in tunage is.

God bless "M.A.P." promotions

Nice, the man who put the C in clan with or without his palamino would help to liven the night even more than it will be already which will already by a corker,See you all there.

ps What about kidnapping mr Mark kerr if you see him at the bowl  as he may be up for a revival of the famous "Lean Back", the choreogrophic classic  composed by rug r,i,p himself and Mr Vunderbar Vilkinson ja,perhaps it it is time for the revival of "The lean back".thats if Her Mark is not himself vorking as a Micheal Palin look a like das night,if not drag him along to vot will be the hoottest night spot in de land Saturday night.Up with the uptempo.

As Buser and Eddie would say,"Till Saturday I will be like a man with ants in my pants,I cant keep still",even less chance of keeping still from when the nighter starts till finish the next morning and onwards carrying the vibe for the rest of the day.

Mark and Phil hit the spot big style with the first night of what I hope becomes a regular event of a phooken off the chart quality all nighter.,the two soulful to the core with a capital S promoters put together a non stop electrifying night of soul, truely gorgeous, wonderful to cry for and then weep some more dweet soul music. Each and every dj kept it coming like an intercity express tearing down the tracks and stopping for no one.Its often said what makes a truely good no not good but really special all nighter,in my book and I think many others its when a combination of factors all come together just right to make that special"Midnight brew",well Mark and Phil mate you brewed up something special for all us very happy soulies last night. The venue was smart as a whip, the floor a delight to dance on ,the ambience ,well that was purely and simply off the chart. For a first time event  the crowd was fantastic and all were here to have a good time at the best go go in town and for miles around never ,so many happy smiling faces as everyones favourites kept coming record after record, every djs set of spins  bringing more and more delight to the ears of the punters.Myself I was in zone way up and beyond with delight as so many of my favourite sounds  came blasting out  causing my feet to not stay still.Saw my old mate Monny from Corby ,havent seen him since time, nice one Monny, plenty of the midlands  soul crew were present(they knew this was going to be the place to be last night and they were indeed right) Kimbo and Mark ,what is it with you two people of the night when out souling along with me the other night person that makes up the trio we never fail to have such a phooken off the hook time its beginning to look like some all powerfull soul genie is smiling on us bestowing on us his blessing ,once again we took it off the chart as his guidance and wisdom led us to all meet up and b there at the very first of what will soon  be the  talk of town among  those who truely come alive between the hours of dusk to dawn.this  message must travel to the wise holyman Gaz himself of the presence of such a new go go hot spot in this land.A good all nighter ends at six in the morning,a truly great one goes home still vibrant and buzzing in the minds and bodies of the punters, records you heard and love still playing in  your head for days after, when you get home your carpet becomes  transformed in to the dance floor of the night before as you shuffle and step.spin and groove once more back there among your fellow soulies just as you were many hours earlier then you are ,phoning your mates to carry on a verbal feeling good inside to know you didnt miss that one!You wont miss the next one either.Welll last night came home with me,mainly in the form of dripping with hot buttered soul  "sweet sherry" by J J, playing in my head along  with  other magic records I was well pleased to hear from those magic records one particular stand the hairs on my head on end when I hears it last night, that specific one and only  and ,phooken Hell what a one, the fabulous  James Bountys Prove yourself a lady, which Mark Freeman spun,  pure magic..

NO doubt about it in my book, last night was an out and out winner, looking forward to more of the same to come and the venue becoming a well established beacon on the scene,Mark and Phil you did yourselves proud and made a lot of folk go home   happy this morning including this one here who could go on verbaling for page after page about the nighter and has also indeed brought home chunks of it in his memory to keep him going(among other things that possibly do) through the week!Nice one Mark and Phil.

Your certainly right mate, the spot was hit, bells rang,as it came together, what a smart venue, out with you and Mark what other nights do we ever have but quality ones and last night was no exception to that rule.lots of soulful folk doing the rounds ,the lass who went out with Passy at Bletso was a joy to talk to.What a pity ex leanbacker von Palin didnt make it,der ist vays of making hem do zat walk and he vill be frogmarched to ze next vun along vit poor old my heart goes out for him our mate from Luton,we should kidnap him,he deserves to come to a nighter of this quality you know he would love it.Sitting here quietly typing away at half three in the morning I am contemplating while my fingers do the talking on what a brilliant start it was a first all nighter making its debut in this manner oozes promise. That floor,in fact the whole venue was excellent ,really plush setting that was just right for a northern do.Yeh Phil and Mark Freeman got it together big style good work lads. All of those djs last night were on their top game.Looking forward to us me ,you and Mark spending lots more nights at the symphony Rooms as well as other venues we frequent while maintaining that golden rule,we go to blo,.. sorry really enjoy ourselves and have a great time when we go souling otherwise why bother.See you and the one and only Mark(Blueten) soon if I hear of any misbehaviour I shall not hesitate in setting the shoal with soul on you both.Geat night, greta nighter mate Manus.

What a brilliant night well done to Mark and Phil for putting it on, really like the area way from the dance floor as you can hear all the tunes but still talk and hear. except Lou Wood who was selling her Jewellery when Fudge came up to her and said Tina wants to know if you are selling butt plugs what a killer he is still laughing now. Any way back to the music every one played their socks of and the floor was full most of the time. really looking forward to the next one
