Plenty in at Stubshaw last night and good to see the dancefloor busy to a mix of good, established oldies, lesser played tackle and a sprinkling of high class rarities. Had to leave fairly early due to work commitments today but if that turn out is an indicator of things to come it can't be bad

Yes Phil I've got to agree a good night and the Nuneaton crowd certainly know how to enjoy themselves! Travelling up to the Parr Hall in Warrington then over to Stubshaw straight onto to the dance floor and they were still going for it when I left, Top Night! We'll done The Stateside Crew BTW I've posted my playlist would be nice to see a few more posted.......... Triode

Had a great night. Thanks to Carl n Maria for lift there, and Derek n Janet for lift home. Fantastic venue, just a couple of complaints.....

1.The bar shutting at 1am.........whats that about?

2. Paul and Derek's spots were too short.......left us wanting more.

Have to say Derek Whatmough played an exceptional spot and we need to see him on at more venues......

Top night, deffo be back again. :hatsoff2:

We went to The Stateside Nighter not expecting a lot but got treated to one of the best nighters I've been to in a long time

All the DJs I heard played top sets, but the 3 that impressed me the most where Mick Lyons, Ian Wills and Wigan Paul who showed off his Wigan roots with a set filled with some Mr Ms sounds that get missed

Brilliant Nighter and we will be back for sure

Well, I srewed up on this one. Didn't know it was on and ended up staying in.

For some reason I got it in my head it was November.

One of my favourite venues.

Never mind. When is the next one.

Agree with that Fred. Went here after Parr Hall and this was a million times better. Also, and credit where credit is due, Wigan Paul put together a really good, well thought out set. Beltin. And I hope he enjoyed it as much as we did !

First time for us at stateside, and didn't  we make the right choice to come to the stateside nighter, loads of friends there, spent all night sat with the Wigan crew, great to meet up with Ian & Angie as always, great set by the way Ian, also big thanks to Mick Lyons,

What a great atmosphere what a night so refreshing to here sounds you don't hear every time you go to a soul venue.

I heard a few records i have never heard before, and they were all dancers, and never heard the same record twice, unlike some other nighters.

A great nighter, a dancers dream, we will defiantly be returning.

Many thanks to all who travelled to the stateside niter we hope everyone enjoyed themselves and it seems they did.Myself and mick picked our residents very carefully for this niter to provide a quality nite of soul music aimed specificly at the dance floor,A good mix of quality oldies lesser played rareitys and current niter monsters is and always will be our policy. The dance floor is our measure and it was full all nite and still rockin as the last tune was spun at 6am.If you think you have something to offer as a dj and have a collection that compliments not copys our resident lineup, contact me on here we are always looking for good guest djs.Our door charge is less than most soul nites let alone niters, thats because its the soul not the profit that counts at stubbshaw. We are changing the date of our next niter to avoide clashing with other quality nites on the same date,i will put new date up asap, but the xmas niter sat 28th dec is set in stone hope to see you all there.

Great night at Stubshaw! We couldn't stay as late as we wanted to unfortunately but while we were there we really enjoyed it, cracking music and a great crowd in.

Stubshaw is gearing up to be one of THE places to be in the future, we will be supporting this venue every time it is on.

Well done Andy and Mick, top event!
