If anyone who is thinking of coming over with a caravan, motorhome,or tent then you can pitch up in the car park which will be locked after the alldayer but will not be opened up again till about 9 oo am so there is no toilets etc as the building is locked if you need to leave before this time there is a camp site 2mls away called Thorntons Holt At Stragglethorpe which also has all the amenities for you there is a local taxi firm in the village DJM cars.

DJ Line up and times are as follows

To start the day off.

12.00 till 13.30 Kyp (Nottm) and Soul Sully (Retford)

13.30 till 14.30 Bob Fletcher (Willington)

21.30 till 22.30 Andy Powell (Willington)

22.30 till 23.30 Big Al (West Midlands)

23.30 till finish Yocky (Everywhere)

These are the times for a fantastic line up DJ's which is second to none.

So come and enjoy a fantastic Alldayer At Cotgrave Welfare Sunday 24th Aug

Jean's instructed me to inform the dj's and the Driving Beat crew that she had a really good night and that she danced her socks off; I thought it was pretty good myself but I try not to get too excited about these things.

Morning,

After a rough tally up last night £1800 has been raised, this will be split equally between The British Heart Foundation, Prostate Cancer UK & The Children's Air Ambulance

A fantastic Charity result and it’s thanks to the DJs and everybody who supported this event and gave so generously. The raffle table had a steady stream of people buying tickets and the prizes were joyfully received. Again, a big thank you to those who donated raffle prizes.

All the best

David & Liz  :hatsoff2:

Well what a "FANTASTIC DAY" at COTGRAVE.

I would firstly like to thank every Dj that gave there time to support us at (D.B.S.C) on our charity alldayer. Without any doubt we had the best line up of dedicated dj's who love music and to see people enjoy themselves and gave there time F.O.C to help us each and everyone of you a big thanks. The line up we had would top line any venue/ alldayer/weekender in the country you are all top draw.

A big thanks to all the people that donated raffle prizes for our charities.

As Dave said we did a rough count last which was a guesstimate but after sitting at the kitchen table counting all the coinage the total was

£1718.01 so each Charity will receive £572.67 each, this total is nearly £500 up on last year so thank you one and all lets make next year even better as all soulers have heart's as big as buckets you are all top people.

Well started at 12.00 with Kyp kicking us off in the right direction then on came Sully still keeping all happy on the floor, Then first time on the decks at Cotgrave Willington's own Bob Fletcher who kept it going well for Mr Awesome Mick "j" who always gives 110 % then David Dee a great Dj who really knows how to keep the pulse and pace going, Next a great favourite where ever he plays Tony "D" and he did a blinding set that kept that pace that had been set. On came our very own Kev Gallagher who as resident at (D.B.S.C) knows what you all want and he delivered, Then on came 2 top-men from Peterbor'o Martin Stanford and Clint they double decked to please the floor, On came Gaz Shooter top bloke and top Dj and he certainly raised the roof  and kept it going on came Cressy who kept the atmosphere going with a great set that really started to get dances changing shirts etc. Then we had our 2nd Willington Dj of the day Andy Powell who as always kept the tempo with a set that took the tiredness out of peoples minds because everyone just kept on dancing (Not like me I was knackered and only done the door). Then Big Al got behind the decks and delivered a brilliant set which is hard when you are following 12 great Dj's. Then last of all the Dj with the biggest heart on the scene yes I bet you thought Peter Stringfellow lol but no I am talking about Yocky who is a great friend and top-draw Dj who finished the day for us in great style.

So I know its a bit long but if I kept going for a week on here I could not thank all the above enough all your hard work on the deck;s made a brilliant day great thanks from Kev, Clive, and myself.

This is it now a great big thank you to all the paying guest at our great venue without you we don't have a venue,so thanks and don't forget to pay us a visit at Cotgrave again we are on every 2nd Saturday with guest next month Big Al and Jonho.

thanks and ktf Trev and all at (D.B.S.C) Nottm.

PS a big thanks to Karen, Liz, an Tracey for all there hard work and patience with all us promoters.
