Thanks for the recommendation Simon , like yourself and 'modern' Paula there's always a great crowd from far n wide who appreciate and enjoy the Sunday chill out at The Waterfront ....soulful , freestyle , progressive , hence at the last count 12 different guests this year making their debut to keep the music n vibe fresh , interesting and hopefully enjoyable.

Hi Folks, huge apologies but i have to cancel the event this Sunday. The venue have double booked the room even though earlier this week they confirmed we were booked in. We will not use this venue now, especially after how we were treated at Xmas. So please see all Waterfronts as cancelled till further notice. I am now looking for another venue. Once again apologies and will keep you posted as soon as a new venue is sorted.

KTF,

Jay Cee

Fabulous, upmarket venue with a brillient sound system in a hard to beat location but with the dirty being done by the P&P (not for the 1st time) you really had no option . Good luck with your search for a suitable future venue to continue the 'freestyle' soul vibe and with outstanding guest djs past playing with imagination and those planned. Really feel for you and especially all those who were coming on Sunday many had trains and hotels booked and looked liked being a bumper crowd turning out for the excellent guests John Moffatt, Gary Smith and John 'Boy' Walton. I 've now got 50 comp promo cd which were intended for the 1st 50 on Sunday so if anyone intending coming would like one just drop me a pm .

HI JASON,

Been to the Waterfront venue on a few occasions and thoroughly enjoyed the venue, music and the commeraderie of the people in attendance. I went to the xmas one and to be honest the way your event was treated on that day was scandalous to say the least.

I think that you probably felt then the "writing was on the wall" and it would only be a question of time before you ended up looking elsewhere. Still, onwards and upwards and their loss will be another venues gain.

Good hunting my friend!.

Met a few of the lads and lasses in the P&P at 1.30 as we said we would, then went for a gentle pub crawl round York. Given the inconvenience and expense (for the second time) it was disappointing that no-one from the event turned up just to say 'hello' and have a chat. That would have been a nice gesture. No sign of any activity for this 'other booking' while we were there.

Hi John, apologies for not showing. I feel we are just putting money into p & p till with no reciprocal support and they have made life so difficult for us especially as we have worked so hard to build this up. Xmas was the first time and now this double booking. Feel very disillusioned with them and that they are taking the mick and that they don't want us on site. Hope to re-organise and get you guys back at a new venue. We will look after you as best we can. Once again apologies.

Ktf,

Jay
