wow ...what a fabulous alldayer. Heard some great music from all the djs in both rooms ...and during the day 15 or so i didn't know and many more i forgotten how good they were as not heard played out for a while. Magical atmosphere in the vaulted cavern and big thanks to all involved in making this 18th Anniv. another rather special one and well worth the trip

My return post  on facebook

Now back home , what an amazing weekend that was . Spent today exploring The Royal mile , had breakfast at Deacon Brodies Cafe across for Deacon Brodies Bar ( which is being refurbished), soaked up the history of the man, now he was interesting character he was a cabinet maker who kept a copy of the locks and then later on robbed the people who owned the cabinets lol.

We walked up to the castle had a pint on the way back to "Fleshmarket" to then enjoyed so many quaint little shops shops in the retro style , bought a minuter suitcase which is so sweet , reminded me of the old box bags , finished off the day with an Italian meal to round of the continental eats themed cuisine weekend.
Can't praise Flybe enough , and the Tune hotel chain along with great organisation of getting you to and from to hotel door with a fleet of buses every ten minutes. It couldn't be easier to get around this city .

But best praise of all is for the hospitality of those we spent time with this weekend , people were so friendly .
The spiders web so reminded me of old haunts , clubs I went to in London which were in cave like cellars underground where the music manifests into a superior sound because of the acoustics , then the walls become damp with the heat from people dancing. Musically it was right across the board anything could be played and looked like the crowd really enjoyed it. I would recommend a visit to The Spiders if you haven't already done it ...It's well worth it.

Great to see many friends , some play lists would be good . I need to remember what the sound was I asked Sean Tasker about.
