Hello All

It's that time again, and looking forward to it I am. Be nice to lift the spirits a bit after saying goodbye to "Moner" a true giant of the Northern scene who will be sadly missed by so many, a great friend and a great man.

Steve, Tez and myself will be keeping you busy along with Neil our guest for February. Plenty of interest so looks like it will be packer.

See you all there then.

Hello All

Great night at "61" again. Numbers down slightly but those in attendance had a good time I'm sure.  Warm up spots from Myself and Steve introduced a few underplayed gems to an appreciative audience.  Terry in the middle spot kept the floor alive with a superb blend of 60's and 70's plus some monster oldies.  Neil carried on all the good work done by the lads in front of him introducing some Motown into a mix of great sounds.  That left Steve to bring up the rear which he loves doing, playing through till the end.

Thanks again to all who attended and everyone who had a dance.  I brought my Brother Carl with me and I know he enjoyed it. Roll on 28 March, when we can do it all again.

See you all there then.

KTF

Had a cracking night at the Route as usual, as you say Ian numbers down a tad as some people were "saving" themselves for Stoke allnighter, but hey those that were there kept up the faith. Enjoyed all the spots by all concerned and tried to mix it up a bit during my spot, taking us through the sixties to some 70's modern thrown it to cos I could, lol

Its a superb venue and a pleasure to get behind the decks, hopefully you will have be back sometime in the future, always good to play to an appreciative crowd.

See you in March.

Neil

Eventually managed to get on the line,

Well what more can I say that Ian & Neil haven't already said it was another great night although we were missing a few of the regulars who like said were saving them selves for the Stoke allnighter,

Thank you to our guest DJ Neil who gave us a great mix of soul to keep the dancers happy, he will be back with us in the future,

My thanks as always go to Terry & Ian doing what they do best giving us a terrific mixture of tunes well known & underplayed plus a few lesser known which is always great to hear for the first time.

As always thank you to all the people who gave us there support on Friday to start there weekend off with some fabulous soul music.

Thank you to my daughter Lisa on the door she is deffo converted on her likes in music!

Until next month have a great time where ever you go,

Steve.    ktf.

Gonna just echo what has already been said.  Neil played a blinding set that had the floor moving and left the punters more than happy.  Steve does what Steve does best and played a great selection of 60's gems.  Ian introduced me to another selection of tunes that had eluded me over the years, blinding as usual.  Another great night overall despite the drop in numbers but next time ... My old mucker Gig's will be our Guest for the night and with no Stoke on the horizon we should have a cracking night.  See you all back at Route 61, March 28th XXXX
