It seems when using their own website there are no availabilities but if you try via Booking.com there are still rooms available albeit a little extra than first quoted, so recommend using this link instead.

Standard doubles from £57

Hi all, a quick update & some extra info.

Ticket sales coming in thick & fast now, thanks to those that have already booked!

If you're thinking of coming but haven't booked yet, then get on the website, book soon, save yourself a couple of quid & guarantee yourself a piece of the action!

Regarding the venue,

The management have assured us there will be a BBQ this time regardless of the weather but I'm sure it will be a lovely summers day anyway!

As before the bar menu is & will also be available all day & evening(The Chorizo burger is great btw if you're in doubt).

As a special offer the management have extended the a la carte restaurant lunch deal exclusively to VaVa Voom go'ers in the evening too, see the new summer menu. I'll try & upload the menu & post in a day or two.

The food really is very good & the restaurant does get busy so make for you phone ahead to book a table.

02082999788  http://www.belairhouse.co.uk/

There will be a manned/womaned cloakroom available on the lower ground floor.

And for those that like their beer, I'll be ordering an extra couple of kegs of fine local cask ale for the top bar as the last ones had run out by 7pm!

As suggested before, for accommodation The Queens Hotel, Crystal Palace seems to be the best bet for somewhere not to far away & reasonably priced.(5-10 mins in a cab).

Go to the website http://yvatiste.wix....avoom-soul-club for more accommodation options, transport links, dj info & of course ticket sales.

Look forward to seeing you there,

Cheers,

Ady

Apologies for the delay in posting but as usual, I've needed a few days to recover.......

Despite all the odds against & so many other events on last weekend we had another full house of smart, enthusiastic, knowledgeable, young & old soul fans coming together to enjoy a great summer soul happening!
The rain had been threatening all week but cometh the hour, it was almost too good, with many a folk sitting outside on the terrace soaking up the rays.
The fact that our friends at alternative venues were also busy is perhaps testament to a healthy vibrant sceneemo1.gif & long may it continue!

Just to reiterate Joel's comments,

Thanks again to everyone who came & made another great event happen!

Thanks to all the Dj's, who from what I heard all played a great mixture of soul, from obscure rarities to classy quality classics & kept people dancing from more or less 2pm right through till 2am!

A special thanks to Dru, Hannah, Roz & Lucy for Wo'manning the door so proficiently!!

A big thanks too to all the people who helped promote & spread the word up & down the country!

Thanks too to the friendly & courteous staff at Belair House!

Roll on Saturday October 25th, make sure you're there for the final instalment!!!

Cheers Ady

I'd be signing up for the 25th October event like a shot, but it's my little boys 2nd birthday party so I'm going to have to miss this. Rest assured I'll be there for any others as Va Va Voom ticks all the boxes for me.
