Chip butties with brown sauce

Chip butties with red sauce

Chip butties with brown sauce and salt & vinegar

Always enjoy doing the cds for the Legion, gives me a chance to put stuff on that I only get to play early doors when theres nobody in or late on when everyones either pissed or gone home! Done a few extra for people who can't make it over, perhaps I should charge them........ :g:

Looking forward immensely to the goings on tomorrow, 7 years eh and we're still going strong with new people attending every month and still the best mix of sounds around being played!

See you tomorrow.

Sound check all sorted at the Legion, even saw Mr & Mrs Roger Banks doing a bit of pre-event window shopping in Burscough as we passed---must have taken them all of 10 minutes, that!

Great day ahead---top DJs, good people, loads of records for sale and 9 fun filled hours of the best sounds around. What more, indeed, could you possibly ask for?  :g:   :D

What a day that was, absolutely brill from start to finsh.Dont like to single anyone out because all the dj,s were very good, but joans first spot for one after the other stormin dancers would take some beating. Many thanks to tony and lisa for a great day,and thanks to nige for the lift back to the bb.I would still be trying to get there now as I was a little tipsy by the end of the nite, its that pete hulatts fault for making me drink all those shandys.

Cheers Andy, what a top day it was! As you said all the DJs were brilliant--thanks to yourself, Bob, Joan, Roger, Mick, Pete and Neil for spinning a superb mix of sounds throughout the day and evening.

Great crowd in also, a few new faces once again, some people we haven't seen for a while and a few of the Legion regulars. Considering how many events were on over the weekend we did brilliant attendance wise, better than we expected.

The chip barms and cd's went down well also, anyone who missed out on a cd please let me know as I'll be running a few more off in the next couple of weeks.

Thanks to everyone for your support, 7 years is a long time and we couldn't keep the Legion going without people turning up each month.

Next one over at Burscough is on Saturday 26th July with guest DJs John Edge, Mick Howard (the Scottish one!) and Tony Mundey. Should be another top event, hope you can make it. :D

Fantastic day/night..................really enjoyed the whole thing thanks for the opportunity !!!Not only that but you can't fail to have a bloody riot with the assorted nuts that were in attendance .......Brookesy with his bobby's helmet on display..........Andy'who's set was nearly scuppered due to lack of keys for his box !!! Pete and his Mrs looking for the nearest bus shelter to kip in (nearly ), Roger constantly diving into the props cupboard(thanks for helping me with those boots Roger!!! ) and sideshow Sid with his newly carpeted shoes !!

Only problem i had was the photographer at the do needs some new equipment ...the gear he has now is obviously outdated ......the piccies made me look a right fat bastard !!!

Last and most importantly the tunes ......can't be bettered !!
