Hi Folks,

I'm really looking forward to this.  Gordon DJ'd a couple of times for Biff and I when we ran The Birchfield in Widnes and I can vouch for both Gordon's collection, his taste in music and his instinctive ability to judge the mood.

Just don't blame him when you go home with blisters on your feet!

The 3 events this year have been real winners and the high attendances have been matched with high praise from those of you who have so kindly supported the new monthly format.  I hope that you will continue to support us this month and give a warm welcome to Gordon who's coming all the way from the North East to grace the decks.

Hope to see you there!

Looking forward to this one, Gordons first time behind the decks at the Northern Line although he has been along a few times as a punter, so he knows the music our regulars like and he will be playing to the dancefloor.

The first 3 this year have been absolutely fantastic nights, so going monthly has definitely worked for us.

Lindylou18 make sure you give us all your requests early doors so we can get as many on a possible for your crowd. Chris is partial to cake.

Stu what can I say, I wish I had your enegy but we will be trying to get your blisters started.I've been digging out more forgotten classics to give  a spin on Saturday, so I hope you all like them.

See you Saturday.

A Big thank you to everyone who turned out at the Northern line last night. It was very quiet early days which was to be expected with the amount of soul nights that were on within 20 miles, but we needn't have worried you turned out in force and made it another fantastic night. Great to see friends old and new, there were people travelling from Shrewsbury, Stoke, Huddersfield, Ramsbotton and of course our locals as well. Many thanks for Gordon Toole for coming down from Newton Aycliffe in County Durham to do a superb spot. We are back on the 24th May for the next one and we have got another great DJ making his Northern Line debut Shaun Fitton from Todmorden. If you haven't seen Shaun DJ you are in for a treat. Hope to see some of you there and thanks again for the great support this year, going monthly is definitely the best thing we ever did.

wow what a fantastic night we had at the northern line last night, it was looking like the amount of events that was on localy would drop the numbers of soulies who attend the northern line, but we could not believe the support we've had over the last four events it's just going from strengh to strengh, we would like to thank everyone who attended and danced all night you make all the hard work behind the scenes well worth doing to make the night what it is, i spoke to john today and we both said we cant wait for the next one there's a buzz about the northern line that you just cant wait for the next night to come, so our next event is on saturday 24th may when we bring over shaun fitton from todmorden so if you want to be part of the northern line soul family we hope to see you there ktf moz
