Just under 3 weeks to go till the 1st Cream Cracker of 2015, now into its tenth year, who'd have thought it!!!!!!!!!!

I have changed the format slightly for 2015 to incorporate 70's tunes for a couple of nights to see how it goes and is responded to by the Jacobs. No need to worry though we're NOT going across the board or anything, and as always been the emphasis of the night musically will still be 60's Northern and RnB.

We have a great collection of DJ's for the 28th, mainly from the West Country admittedly, but coupled up with Glen and Colin locally, Im positive that we'll end the night at 02.30am "Cream Crackered"

Equipments all set and ready to go.

Had a phone call from someone coming for the first time tonight, and they asked me what the music policy is at The Cream Cracker, I said.

The music policy is......

60's / 70's Northern Soul and RnB, with the emphasis on uptempo and danceable.

The DJ's are invited to play some you know, some you dont and some you should. Thats it.

Safe trip to you all and we'll see you later to get "Cream Crackered"

Kind Regards

Morning. Thankyou to all that came on Saturday night. Shame that numbers were down, especially as 4 of the dj's had travelled a fair distance to come up to Corby. Thankfully those that were in stayed to the end, which I am grateful to you all for, then again I had locked all the exits. Have finally sorted the sound system out, at last( bloody thing has been my nemesis). As I know that this had caused some to stay away.  Am I disappointed? Nah, I never worry about anything that I have no control over, I was disappointed for the guys that had come up from Bristol, Gloucester and Somerset to dj. One consolation though, there was less talc down Saturday and that meant that the manager of the Masonic wasnt going to look at me angrily again or say that the hire charge may have to go up to pay for the extra cleaning.

Once again a massive thankyou to all that attended Saturday and to the dj's for opening their boxes for us. Highlight for me was dancing to The Imperial C's.

Friendly and knowledgeable crowd Kev, which is a Cream Cracker hallmark.

Great to see you and the gang - quality tunes from start to finish. The music covered all the bases, all genres, mad rare to seriously cheap, well known to completely unknown to me.

Loved it !

Always a pleasure - see you soon.
