What a great line-up of dj's, but think I will have to bring a sleeping bag and flask with me lol as old age has it's drawbacks, but seriously this should be a cracker of a day and night with some top tunes being spun with something for everyone, from oldie's to unknown's and modern to big hitters maybe even a bit of R&B and reggae thrown in as well.

And all this for charity so if you are at loose end and want to hear some great tunes turn up pay your cash and have a great day & night with some great people.

A £1 Rob :pirate: , come on now, even I'm going to chuck a note rather than coins into the bucket :hypocrite: ,  but, its what ever any one can afford at this expensive time of the year, any contribution will be thankfully received (even expect hands in the pockets from the djs) :wicked:

Saturday 6th Dec is an important date for us at Pure Soul, we are proud to be holding our aldayer to support such a worthy local cause

The MARY ANN EVANS Hospice in Nuneaton gets 100% of all proceeds raised from door donations and raffle ticket money

For those not in the know Mary Ann Evans was born in Nuneaton on 22-11-1819. She made her name as a novelist, journalist, translator and one of the leading writers of her period.

She went under the pen name of George Eliot so as to ensure her work was taken seriously, and it worked as novels including 'Mill on the Floss' and 'Middlemarch' were a great success.

If on a visit to Nuneaton you may notice that a lot of the buildings and streets in and around are named after the author or novels written by her.

She also had a motorcycle named after her (George Eliot) built by local manufacturer John Bird.

Aforementioned is perhaps now't to do with NS but Nuneaton is also famous for the Bondgate Club that was the place to go in the 70's. Although now gone the former buildings location is about 500m from the town centre so well worth a visit if only to fulfil nostalgia.

Hope this makes good reading.

I knew I should have stayed at school longer than 15, then I may have been an history buff lol, but to bring things up to date the Bondgate club is now the wing wah (indeed, well worth a visit)lol, but real NS history buffs will tell you The Hartshill sports club was the famous Cons club in the 70s

Here endeth the lesson
