Fantastic support yet again, with over 500 Soulies through the door making £2900 for Alder hey children's hospital.

what can I say about the day, 24 DJs did us proud" with two ballrooms bouncing.

soulies played there part by getting up and dancing from the word go, and they really did renew my faith in the way they behaved themselfs (with not a hint of trouble).

I would like to thank all that attended and who have supported us with the Prince Of Wales and The Years previous at the Mill Croston. Heading upwards to £18.000 raised in the last 8yrs. See you next year" On the Sunday Aug Bank holiday in Sunny Southport.

and again a huge thanks from Rod & Danny Clegg and Carol Gilboy Xx

Update, Three more names added for the main Ballroom. Steve Clayton with some of those big hitters we know he as, and Hull Soul clubs Steve Gainey & Steve Gill traveling the width of England. As you can see by the DJs for this event, we wanted to bring in Club DJs that would represent Northern Soul from a wide area with there fine collection's. We have also added a chill out bar with a relaxed feel to it, playing records we all love but don't get to play out. With your support this could be as good if not better than last year, we will be trying our best. Rod Clegg

Two more to be added into the mix are, Harry Crosby & Paul Dickinson  "Donkey years of experience " FROM THE CRESCENT SOUL CLUB, YORK. Oh and don't forget the money raised on the Day will be going to charity. :::: Rod

Where putting a few more DJs names in the bag, this time the chill out Bar /lounge where music will be with that listen/relax feel. Southport own Tony Blundell & Glynn Hanford and Ormskirk's Dave Gostelow

Other DJs on the day will come from the visiting players in the two Ballrooms.

Going to look at doing the flyers shortly, so I'll need all information correct before going to press.

The CD is 24 tracks picked by 24 DJs from the all dayer, and believe me has been a pleasure putting together.all tracks are from there own collections. Good vibes so far on the alldayer, with a lot of people coming and staying in Southport as its a bank holiday weekend.the idea is is to raise as much money as possible for Charity. So please come and join us at what looks like being a great event. Rod Clegg

Hi everyone, sorry I've  not been on for a while. We've been on our jollys. Well time is moving on, and before we know where we are" the ALLDAYER will be on us. A lot of interest again, so here's hoping this year will be as good as last years. Without your support and success from last year we would never be able to acquire two fantastic ballrooms for the day.  So we have put together some great DJs who will represent different soul clubs for your enjoyment both Northern and modern in the two ballrooms. We also have added a chill room with music as to help out with the bar situation. We have also done a CD which is 24 tracks picked by the 24 DJs for £3 each, hey and guess what' I haven't told them what's on it besides for there's. Looking forward to seeing you all on the day, bags of respect my fellow Soulies. rod Clegg

PS STEVE, I PLAY THAT CD MYSELF" JUST TO REMIND ME WHAT GREAT TIMES WE HAD AT THE MILL.
