I've gotta look after someone else's venue this night. You wouldn't believe it - Jem (My partner in Grime) has gone and clashed with himself! Yup, got two bookings, and has to honour both (Hence I've been 'called to arms')

Have fun guys - See you at the next whenever that may be

All the best,

Len

Stress free?!!!.......At the last event there the decks were jumping all over the place, and just this morning I’ve been ‘hatching a plan’ to somehow suspend the equipment in Mid-air from the ceiling, thus completely isolating it all from the stage - Luckily I am a metal worker……..The things we do for blo*dy ‘Norman Soul’……

Keep us posted on future dates - I only wanna enjoy other people’s efforts nowadays

Len

P.s - Does anyone wanna buy an ‘Ear’? (I’ll also throw in the ‘Lennys’ sign) :D

Can't believe it's only two weeks away, get in!!

Apologies for the lateness of the hotel info, been mad busy at work and stuff but here it is:

Closest is the Camponile on Lowlands Road, WA7 5TP. 01928 581 771 / book on-line

Holiday Inn on Wood Lane, WA7 3AH. 0871 423 4876 / book on-line

Premier Inn on Chester Road, Preston Brook, WA7 3BB. 0871 527 8954 / book on-line

There's also a taxi office on the club car park which is handy if you're staying over - roll out of the club straight into a cab, perfect!

Gaz K. is very ready for this (as we all are!) .    This week he's had some really good news, which I'm sure he will share with, all at Grumpy's who, are willing to listen :-)

One question arose from my conversation with him this week "Is there reduced admission charge for Pensioners?" :-)

Really looking forward to it !

Just a quickie ... Fewer of us than usual maybe but a really good night I thought. (We had a decent crowd I n which, given how much was on and WHO was in, was alreet!)

Absolutely FANTASTIC to see the NE lads down, along with Ritchie n Cat, Rob n Mrs G and everyone else of course, especially those who put real effort in to support us every single time, without fail. Proper people who make all the effort  worthwhile.

Dave n Carl as good as always, Lou n Joan absolutely diamond geezeressrs  of course and Simon, our guest, was as good as any we've had imho - thanks mate! (Incidentally, he got there early and stayed until the end when he and Andrew gave us a lift with the kit. How good's that!).

To be continued ...

Cheers

Phil

Hi Phil

sorry I didn't make it but my driver ( Mrs B) was away for the weekend. Had to make up for missing your do with a bit of Aussie bashing at the Cricket Club! Until next time.
