SATURDAY 13th JUNE

The next Moss Bank Soul Club takes place on Saturday 13th June, another night of quality Northern Soul and Motown!

Special guests at this one are Jimmy Knowles and Stuart Marlor, the night runs from 8pm---1am and entry is just £4 on the door. Cheap as chips!

Moss Bank is fast becoming THE event to attend in this neck of the woods, attendances have soared over the last few months and the music is second to none.

If you haven't been yet we're sure that you won't be disappointed so why not pop along on the 13th June, or any 2nd Saturday of the month?

Not long to go now to our Moss Bank Soul Night on Saturday 13th.
Its going to be another cracking night
Large wooden dancefloor, great friendly atmosphere, cheap bar prices and a well lit large secure car park and always a warm welcome.
If your planning to go to Swinton All Nighter then why not come to Moss Bank first for a warm up?...
This club is just getting better and better every month. So come along and hear some of the best quality music around

RESIDENT DJ'S

MARTIN BLUNDELL (Blunny)
TONY BROOKES (Brookesy)

Guest DJ's for this month are JIMMY KNOWLES and

That dance floor was busy all last night, everyone seems to have danced their socks off and probably some sore limbs today.

My set consisted of the following tunes:

Jetsons and Tangiers = Dance of Love; Mel Williams = Can it be me; Lee Andrews and the Hearts = Never the less; Isley Brothers = Sure is a lotta woman; Joe Hicks = Dont t Make you feel funky; Johnny Sayles = I cant get enough; Wally Cox = This man; Taj Mahal = A lot of love; H B Barnum = Heartbreaker; Tempos = Countdown here I come; Lee Roye = Tears; Garnet Mimms = Looking for you; Four pros = Just another girl; Valentinos = Sweeter than the day before; Tribulations = You gave me up for promises; Reparata and the Delrons = Panic; Sweet Things = I'm in a world of trouble; Blanch Carter = Halos are for angels; Patti Austin = Music to my heart; Laura Greene = Moonlight Music and me; Loretta Williams = Baby Cakes; Lynne Randell = Stranger in my arms; Sheila Anthony = Livin in love; Joey Heatherton = When you call me baby & Thelma Houston = Baby mine. The tunes were not played in that order though; To paraphrase Eric Morecombe = All the right tunes but not necessarily in the right order   .

Jimmy, Tony and Blunny played some blinding tunes and whilst they haven't (yet) listed their sets; they were bloody good sets and my missus was too knackered from a hard night dancing to make to Swinton. :)
